Was great to see Broome play through the chest of their bigs. Then he went the finesse game late.

Glad he didn’t get going

Well- it was dicey until that run- but that run looked like AU for the first time since Kentucky.
They kinda did the same thing to Creighton. Started hitting shots and put the screws to them on defense where they didn't score for like 6 minutes.
I just wish they would put together an entire game moving forward. We will need it vs the rest of our potential opponents.

Where did you go after this post?

Did he score again after that?
Nope. He hit a 3 for either their first, or one of their first, baskets. Then he backed him down, scored and gave the "too little" sign. That was his last bucket.
Tre's stat line: 5 pts/1 reb/ 0 ast in 30 minutes.

Oh and now 18 Q1 wins. I think that breaks Kansas record of 17 in a season. Could be mistaken on that but that’s a lot of big time wins

He gave his best at AU and left well unlike another yahoo who left last year. That move tonight was not ideal but I’ll chalk it up to the heat of the moment and give him the benefit of doubt. Glad we shut him down tonight but still a Tre fan.

I don’t hate Tre or anything but wasn’t the story that he met with Bruce and all was well and then he blindsided Bruce and entered the portal?

I thought he was encouraged to look around, but could be mistaken.

Not gonna lie, early on my butthole was clinched tighter than a bear trap with it looking like Tre and Wolf might take us out.

Wherever it is, it’s a worse place for him being there, and I hope his sorry arse stays there.

And a boatload of turnovers. That game was there for the taking for them in the first half if he plays just a solid game.

I think the story with Tre is we expected him back, but then he met with the coaches and wanted to be named starter. We couldn't do that, so he went somewhere that guaranteed him a starting spot. It was no hard feelings though.
