I feel like the 12(?) turnovers in the second half are the reason why our season is over.

That and rebounding

Outrebounded 43 to 33. We said it before the game, rebounding would be key to the game.

That did not help. We scored 27 points in the second half. We had a guy hit a shot every now and then. We just didn't have anybody go off like they did.
Denver was 3-9
Kelly was 3-10
Pett was 1-6
They were a combined 3-16 from 3

I believe we were beating them on the boards after the first half too. They came out in a different gear of effort in the second half and we couldn’t keep up.

Yep, that was Jan-Feb Auburn in the first half then late season Auburn in the 2nd. Just two totally different halves.

Yeah, I didn’t see the 1st half stats, but it was a helluva swing.

Too bad TT choked. We would’ve handled them

If Kelly or Pettiford were to have a DECENT game, we win it.

This team will go down as the best team that could have been.
Bruce lost his team down the stretch

I don't blame it on the refs, but they definitely had a say. That being said, we played a bad 2nd half. And that's it. Broome and our guards failed us. Hate it most for Dylan.

I know it has been said but really it comes down to one thing. Clayton came out and was unguardable from the jump. He outscored miles, tahaad, and Denver by 9 by himself. That’s the game. We played great defense on everyone else for the most part and we just couldn’t do anything to slow him down which honestly surprised me knowing we could throw 3 very good defenders at him.

Good run. Hate to see it end. Dam@@@

Some on this board before/earlier in the season: “Bruce is a failure if he doesn’t get us to the FF this year!”
Those same people tonight: “Bruce is a failure because he only got us to the FF!”

We went to a final four and people are acting like this is a god damned funeral.

Yep, Clayton is the X factor combined with Broome at half mast. Broome not being a force did not open up clean shots on the perimeter. Is what it is. Much respect for Florida, hope they win it all.
