I know we've all been disappointed with the end of the season. Still there was a time when i was giddy about even possibly being on the bubble. Today were a lock for a 2 seed.

It does feel good knowing it’s a matter of when and not if Auburn gets placed.

With UK, Baylor, and Duke losing seems like the last one seed is up in the air. Sucks, probably could have gotten it maybe with even just 1 win in the SECT but I guess they'll give it to Baylor now..

I think our 6-4 'limping' into the tourney hurts as much as anything else.
I feel like something was never quite right after February 1. Rode games dreadful, and even during the home games we would hit these woeful dry spells.

Yeah, late season road games were brutal for us. We have had a problem shooting lately.
Either way - no matter the seed - today is a good day.

I've been saying it for a couple of weeks now, but any spot other than the 2 seed in the East region with Villanova as the 3 will feel like a win to me.

We haven’t looked like an elite basketball team in a while. The past few weeks we’ve played more like an 8 or 9 seed hoping to get in the tournament.

Give me a 2 seed away from KU or Arizona.
I want Baylor or Gonzaga.
But who are we kidding? We likely aren’t making it out of the sweet 16.. maybe not even the round of 32 the way we’re playing

Imagine being a little bummed we aren’t a 1 seed going into the NCAA tournament for March Madness.

I love this team but it’s fair to be realistic.

I’d rather have your take than sunshine pumpers or negative Nancys that don’t even give credit to all a coaching staff and team have accomplished.

I’m messing with you. But there are a lot of teams that don’t feel great about themselves at the moment. Just avoid the handful of 6 to 8 scorching hot teams and we have a chance and can hopefully get hot ourselves

Agreed. Hope certainly isn’t lost

Our guys have been in a shooting slump for awhile, I also believe Kessler's shoulder has been an issue, just not as dominant a shot blocker of late but droughts end eventually. The extra rest may do us good. We have seen how good this team can be, just one good showing for confidence and we could be up and running again.

Palm has a 2 in the midwest vs 15 Longwood.
Lunardi has a 2 in the East vs Colgate.
Bracket Matrix has us a 2.
DelphiBracket has us a 2 in the midwest vs Delaware

I like Palm's bracket the most but Longwood would be an interesting start. Their tallest player is 6' 7" but they have 3 players 2 guards and F that all play over 30 minutes and shoot right at 40% from 3. Plus 4 of their 5 starters are seniors.

We should definitely beat both of those teams but give me Longwood all day (teehee) over Colgate.

Most exciting season and best seeding since 99 season for me.
Yes the Final 4 run was an amazing 6 weeks but this has been in the works since November for me. Add on top of whatever else happens the rest of the season and Jabari at minimum a top 3 overall pick. Insane.
