Garner has already said he would move to TE/ST coach.

Not sure how I feel about moving a coach from the position he knows best to the complete other side of the ball just to keep him on staff. It could potentially be a disaster, but at the same time being TE coach would probably limit that potential disaster the most considering how little we use "TEs"

Garner coached tight ends for about 5 to 10 years back in the 90s for us and Tennessee.

he coached them at Auburn and then at Tennessee. i think he did well enough that they gave them tackles to coach at Tennessee too before he left to coach at UGA. The biggest thing he has done since the 90s is excelling at Recruiting Coordinator. The dude can really organize all of that stuff well.

He coached Fred Baxter who played in the league for 9 years as well as Andy Fuller who made All-SEC 1st Team two years in a row.

Maybe gus wants to save the Boom announcement to after the playoff selection committee announces the playoff teams. Steal the thunder.

I predict..
1. Oregon
2. Baylor
3. TCU
4. Georgia Tech

My super secret inside source that told me Bill Clark was a leading candidate 2 days before it was reported anywhere text me at 6:30 this morning to say Muschamp will be at the SECCG with Gus today. I again told him to GTFO but how glorious would that be for Gus and boom to steal the show lol

My inside source told me that Gus and Will Muschamp are hiking the Appalachian trail together. They were seen coming out of the woods near Gatlinburg and they plan on seeing the Christmas lights and taking in tonight's show at the comedy barn in Pigeon Forge.

A certain Will Muschamp will supposedly be at the SEC Championship today with a certain Gus Malzahn, and others... Stay tuned, people.
