If we can slow down their guard we can maybe start pulling a lead out, but that MF is on fire.

Still not too unhappy with being within striking distance.

We have to come up with something to get the ball out of his hands. He's their whole team right now.

Not unhappy really. Houston is physical. They are making a ton of contested shots. We are playing good D for the most part

All things considered, pretty impressive first half. We have ratcheted up the toughness for sure. They hit several tough contested shots that could have easily not fallen. Hall is the truth, and Freeman is quickly acclimating to this big time opponent.

Hate they got that final shot but overall pleased. KO gave too much space to a good shooter there.

Gotta keep beating them on the boards to have a shot in the second half. Their freshmen are showing out.

Anybody think we can win? Or do you think we will slowly bleed out

We are +2 rebounding which is really good since they have bigger guys inside. Houston is more physical for sure, but we are playing our most physical game of the season too. Big improvement from where we we're to start the season.

I think we can win, but we have to keep playing physical and hitting the boards hard. If we can slow down Flemings I think we can win. If not then it won't be a blow out, but they will win by a couple possessions.

realistically, it’s a tough hill to climb, Houston is good but it’s basketball and I’ve seen crazier things than AU beating the cougars.

We may slowly bleed out, but that was to be expected coming in if it happens. Hopefully we make some offensive adjustments at half and keep it a close game.

I've mainly been happy to see our defense looking improved. Murphy makes a huge difference. I wish Steven would trust Opurum to get some minutes, Jovic and the walk-on don't belong on the floor against Houston.

The first couple of minutes looked more like a hockey game.
