Not sure why anyone in this thread is negative about that game.

I don’t get it either. We’ve got a good team and we’ll win a bunch this year. Gonna be fun to follow along this year.

Well those veterans didnt contribute a whole lot

Uzan and Sharp pretty much scored all of their points the last 8 minutes or so, and the majority of their points in the second half. I'll give you that they didn't do squat in the first half, but they are the main reason Houston won in the second half (along with us not being able to hit free throws). Flemings scored 4 in the second half, and Cenac fouled out super early. It was all their vets down the stretch.

The second half is when the freshmen were acting like freshmen. Flemings made some bizarre decisions and Cenac fouled out.

Btw those freshmen outscored the rest of the team against Oakland as well. Those freshmen are going to dominate the ball usage and get better.

What's the report on Hall.

No doubt they will. Flemings and Cenac were damn impressive. But acting like they don't have a strong veteran core is just a bad take. Houston is going to be a really good team because they have vet scorers like Uzan and Sharp to go along with the freshman studs.

Much like we had Tahaad as our stud scoring freshman last year.

Man I’m glad Tahaad rediscovered his stroke. We need him.

None. They will probably wait until they are back at Auburn to run all the scans. Him coming back out is a good sign though, at least for the long term.

Either way. It was the freshmen with numerous amounts or mental breakdowns. I did not feel the veterans did a whole lot to lead at the end of the game. They blocked shots because Hall was out and we didn't have a better scorer at the end of the game than Petitford but we outperformed them

Yeah. The Penny era is likely to end after this year.

Magwood wasn’t even traffic cone good on defense. Hopefully he can see that on tape, take some pride and turn that around. I think we will need him on O

Freeman graded out the lowest at -2.9
Petitford had the highest for Auburn at +3.2
Hall and SWA were also in plus territory in NET

The only three players that netted positively for Houston were the freshmen.

Auburn relied heavily on 6 players getting minutes tonight. That's not going to work.

Magwood/ Bashir/ Filip need to step it up big time

How bad is Oporum(sp?) injury?

SWA is sort of like Cardwell.
Plays hard.
Liability at foul line.

Freeman’s dunk should be SC top 10- the top play!
