It seems you’re actually asking for inconsistency for Simmons and action being taken before all the facts are known.
Neither one has been found guilty. One is accused of a violent crime and the other isn't. There's no excuse for Simmons to not be suspended right now at the very least. We're letting a alleged woman beating hang around because he's more talented.

Not in Alabama. Stop making excuses. Dude had weight on him and was dealing weed. Dont want that poisoning the team
And I said if Freeze wants to run a tight ship and kick off that's fine, but he needs to be consistent. Neither one has been to court, so why is the guy accused of a violent crime not even suspended yet while the guy who was allegedly selling weed is completely off the team?

They went on to say that they’re confident they do not yet have what they need to make a judgement, but once those facts are clear, decisions will be made swiftly.

one was caught red handed by police, the other was arrested based on the woman's complaint

There are always two sides to a story.

And the longer he stays on the team the more I think he will.

I am pretty much a rogue Auburn fan and even Bama fans say Auburn fans dont like me, so frick Jones, I can speak freely because I have no reputation worth defending. So my position is people love to whiteknight against men hitting women but they dont say shite when a female acts like a psycho while throwing punches...or 3 inch stilettos that can put an eye out.

I have two daughters too. But as long as they are in my house, by God, if they dont thank the cashier they will hear quickly they are in the wrong. Women need to be held accountable too. If the woman is at fault, she needs the scorn. If Malcolm is at fault he needs to be gone. There is no archaic law of chivalry protecting women if they are the ones acting like Jon bones Jones while campaigning they can do all things men can do. Once they cross the line frick em. Let yellawood justice play out.

Jang, see Ozuna from the Braves. His wife was the abuser but he was arrested for being the male.

Don’t believe that is the majority of the cases tho and a male needs to de-escalate and get himself out of there

I’m just gonna say as someone who has been w a crazy woman before let’s just wait and see. There are some spiteful women out there who will ruin a career over something that didn’t happen. Time will tell and we should move accordingly.

The girl is not pressing charges. So it appears how the DA handles it or the University.

A male should de-escalate since they have the power to do so. Legal can decide the criminality. Both sexes can be evil.

Barber- A plant that's legal in many states and a legal handgun. Kicked off before he could defend himself (Not saying I think this.. but for all we know that weed belonged to the passenger, maybe it was under the seat and he had no idea it was in the car.... again, not saying I think that, but there are defenses for that and we didn't wait to hear them)

Police arrest, they will not back down and have the evidence. I am for legalize now, but we live in Alabama.

Simmons- Allegedly beats and strangles a woman. No action.

No witnesses, no indication of if this was just a girlfriend that got mad. If she refuses to press charges, then welcome back to the team.

Tells me there is more to it than what was surface level. If he’s cleared I got no problem w him being back. Not because he’s a talent either. This could be a simple altercation that got heated and she over stepped. If he distances himself from her and continues the straight and narrow I think he will be fine.

So are the pay sites openly thinking Sinmons will be back? It seems that's the direction the decision is headed.

Interesting. I know didly about these type of proceedings, but if she isn't pressing charges as has been mentioned, what is the purpose of the preliminary hearings?

The DA can use hearsay at preliminary hearings. I suspect the cop will testify that she told them she was choked and she had marks on her neck.

Not sure honestly, could be wrong but maybe to settle this outside of going to court? AKA financial compensation for it to be "settled".

After charges and booking you have to go before the court for charges to be dropped. The judge has to sign off on it
