Play calling? Offensive line? Nick Marshall? Cam Artis-Payne? Lack of pass rush? Injuries?

IMO, you could maybe place a little bit of blame on a lot of things, but here's the real reason:

Auburn's problem right now is that they ran into Mississippi State, arguably the best team in not only the SEC, but the country. A team that has more momentum than any other team in the country. A team that was at home. A team that has the current Heisman front-runner. A team coached by a guy, Dan Mullen, that considers Auburn his Super Bowl. A team that is on an absolute tear.

So, let's calm down, Auburn friends. Auburn, right now, is still one of the best coached and most talented teams in the nation. We are still in the hunt for the SEC Championship and the Four Team Playoff. We have a buy week to regroup before playing at home in front of the best fans in America. We are still in this thing, guys.

WAR frickING EAGLE!!!

Hey heres what I think.

1. frick the grinders. They suck. Historically and again starting next year. Moo State is Moo State.

2. Dan Mullen is a bitch. Yeah, we are his super bowl. He was at Florida when we beat them. If he goes back to UF, thats awesome. We'll beat him again there.

3. Dan is like Chiz. he got extremely lucky with an all world QB. In Mullens case, lightning struck twice. Tebow and Prescott.

I totally believe MSU is like AU was last year. They got the magic eye. I think it will be a highly entertaining run for them.

I totally refuse to believe that either of the landmass teams is more than lightning in a bottle. They're GREAT this year.

I say it's more the lack of a pass rush

I thought he went a little too heavy on the State praise.

It is several things as TT's stated, but pass rush is definitely one of them. Dak had enough time to grill burgers and dogs while passing.

I think it was mostly the penalties and turnovers coming at the worst time. State is good but they are not as good as we made them look. Our lines are the biggest problem right now. Whether it's run blocking, pass protecting, or pass rushing.

You might have an argument if Mississippi State had played like the best team in the SEC or nation but they didn't.

Our problem on Saturday was Auburn (and a bit of officials and bad luck) but mostly Auburn. If we had played even a C+ game we would have won.

I think our problem is we no longer have an assistant coach who swings a towel on the sidelines to pump up the players and we are really starting to feel that letdown this season.

No. Moo state is who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook! The team played like shite, the play calling was shite, and the refs were shite. With all that, there still was a chance to win the game. Don't act like Moo state is anything special this year. They will lose a few in the upcoming weeks. The question is, will we continue to play like shite or get it together and get back to Atlanta?
