I did visit ghost train and loved what they did to the place. Last time I went it was Cahaba’s.

Been to Ghost Train once to see a friend of mine's band play, seemed like a cool place. Don't remember the beer though.

Cahaba is probably my favorite brewery in Bham to just hang out at, other than Avondale when they have a good show.

Been staying busy wearing out yet another pair of guitar strings. And procrastinating about washing the pollen off my pickup that's not really being seen. And half-seriously trying to keep track of the 3rd day of not shaving, so as to keep the stubble itch at bay. Did finally decide keeping the YouTube-TV was a good move even though our ball season is now gone and long over.

Today's big tasks have been bible reading, phone talking, and making sure the phone's charged up for Sunday's big storms. BTW - y'all keep an eye out tomorrow - wherever you are. . . . . And have a HAPPY and enjoyable EASTER.

You need to come fish the river. Spots on the Cahaba are the meanest by far.

We hiked in 2.5 miles for a little Shoal Bass fishing. We only caught 5 between the fam, but it was truly a beautiful day!

Where do you live Slacker? I grew up hunting on the Ocmulgee. My dad was in a big hunting club there when I was young and I killed my first deer there.

When I was very young, he would take me there and we would run trotlines and limb hooks on that river. Man that was a different time

Im from that area

We are in Macon. I fish the Ocmulgee (nearly exclusively now) but usually just north of Macon. The boat ramp in Macon is so jacked from the flooding this year, I've got to do some exploring to find an alternative. The hike was beautiful and it follows a creek falling down to the river, some nice places in the creek were calling my name, but I had the fam and we had a goal. It was about 1 hr hike both ways, but you couldn't have designed a better day.

I did have one nice shoal bass in the rocks torment me for about 30-45 minutes. She'd rise, follow my bait, and roll back down. I did get her to mouth it once, too quickly to do anything. That's frustratingly awesome.
