How big is your dock?

It used to be pretty big and nice. Then NYC and his buddies completely destroyed it. Now it's basically useless.

Lanier,

Do you give (or know someone that does) electronics setup class? I have $3k worth of Humminbird stuff I use for a clock and a map.

Anything more annoying than clowns not using all the lanes in the boat launch? Drives me insane.

Prepping their boats at the ramp when there is a line of people

Or
Last year we were at our marina’s launch. Some idiot roofers who probably have never boated before. They forgot to put their plug in on their inboard wake boat. First they pull up on the rocks. Someone yells that they might not want to do that. So they pull up on the ramp blocking it for everyone else. They don’t have a trailer for some reason and beg someone else to use theirs. They get on someone else’s trailer, problem is, it’s not an inboard boat trailer. they are hanging off the back, scraping the ground. Then they sit there until all the water drains, about a half hour.

Bullet proof roofing for you north Atlanta folks...

There's never a line with a boathouse. We got the boat out for the first time today. Did a little fishing but mostly just enjoyed being out of the house. The top foot or so of water isn't far from being tolerable temperature wise. If my youngest would have had trunks I'm pretty sure he'd have got in.

Typical for me. Smoked em on Friday in practice. Saturday, none of that worked. Turned into a finess/spot tournament which is NOT up my alley. Which is why I was asking Lanier about electronics.

Cheers to all. Picked up some chicken wings to throw on the egg tonight, baby backs for tomorrow, & a ham to smoke for Easter. It'll be weird for sure to not be at church on Sunday, but we've been streaming for the last few weeks and we'll do it again tomorrow. If you are a church-goer, remember to give online if you can. Offerings are down 40%. If you're anti-religion, I'd would encourage giving to your local food bank if you're in a position to give.

I'm pretty fortunate right now. I've had my dream job for a while and now it's even better do to the COVID. I literally only show up to fly. Straight from home to the plane, no extra BS. Now, if I didn't have to shave, you wouldn't be able to wipe the smile from my face.

The Mrs (no pics) has us walking our arse off. I'm at 51.5 miles the last 7 days. I'd probably be losing some lbs if it wasn't for the beers and vino in the evening. It seems too much like a vacation not to imbibe.

Happy Easter to all, stay safe and healthy!

Sipping on Ghost Train Select Blonde tonight. Might just usurp Cahaba Blonde for the best Blonde in Birmingham.

Hope all is well

Haven’t had any Birmingham beer in a while. I was sick when I was in town last time so I ate & drank almost nothing. Had a yuengling since it’s not available out west but couldn’t finish it. I did take some Trim Tab home with me. Think it was the 006 hazy IPA. Really good.

I did visit ghost train and loved what they did to the place. Last time I went it was Cahaba’s.

Crazy how different people's taste buds are. Trim tab is garbage beer, all of it tastes sour.
