He’s not going to to flat out say he has no interest in the job, he will get himself a raise from the situation first.

We have a talent gap. Heard someone say today that Auburn MIGHT make a bowl game next season based off the talent currently on campus. Think about that before you hire the next coach please.

Ole Miss isn’t Auburn. They don’t have the money or resources we do, Lane also can’t recruit there like he can at Auburn….and he knows it.
If Auburn comes with an offer Ole Miss isn’t going to be able to keep up.
Lane’s probably already dreaming of breaking in that new $100M football only facility.

While all that is true, he also doesn’t have the championship expectations or dysfunctional Athletic department at Ole Miss like he’d have at Auburn.

I know lots of people want Kiffin but I don't think he's worth 7.5 to 8 Million a year when he can't beat the teams that matter. He only has Bama and a Bowl game left on the schedule and I don't see him beating Bama. That will leave Kentucky as his best win and that can't be ignored. He will also have to play UGA and not Vandy every year.

If a coach doesn’t have championship expectations then he doesn’t need to be at Auburn.
He also doesn’t need to be paid $7M+ to be mediocre at a mediocre program but if that is what Ole Miss wants its their money.
Ah, and the dysfunctional Auburn admin line. An old tried and true. While I will give you that under Greene things didn’t run as they should, but these are new times, with new leadership in place.

So Harsin got paid $5 million, and you don’t think Kiffin is worth $7.5-8 million?
