I hope all are doing well! Stay safe, use your head, and know that even though we are somewhat hampered due to the current circumstances in our lives, everything will be ok. You are loved and never alone despite the way it might seem...

Literally got fired about 10 days before the quarantines started going into effect. I wasn’t able to keep up with one of my two full time jobs. Now I am left with my other full time practice working from home. Was feeling awkward working from home but now all you frickers have joined me so I don’t feel so bad anymore.

I work at the sheriff's department and my wife works at the hospital so we are both essential but I got sent home yesterday being my wife did a scan on a patient Friday evening that turned out to be positive for covid-19 and they don't have the proper PPE to wear due to a shortage.

Still wondering how a golf course can be classified as essential, yet I can't go to the gym.

Maybe the absolutely worst possible place to go during a virus epidemic.

Using the same equipment as everyone else
Everyone sweating and breathing hard in close quarters
Not Sterile.

Instant death

Golf is a good example of using common sense and the ability to social distance. Fresh air is very important, get out of your house, go for a walk or a run, etc.
1) Maintain Social Distancing
2) Each person has their own Cart or they can walk
3) Removed racks, water, etc. from the course. Pins remain, but must not be removed.

Florida is looking to open beaches in a similar fashion.
1) Maintain Social Distancing
2) No chairs, umbrella's, etc.

It is time for small businesses, parks, etc to be allowed to open with guidelines (Social Distancing, limited number of people, masks).
1) Walmart can sell clothes, but the small retailer cannot?

That gets wiped down with cleaner all the time. I have always wiped down equipment before using, even before all this.

I go at 4:30 in the morning. There is maybe 1-2 other people in there when I go. They could easily have a schedule where they could minimize how many people are in the gym at one time.

See above. Probably one of the cleanest places you can go to, as everything is being sanitized and cleaned constantly.

My wife was furloughed, which ironically is working out great for us. She's going to get about $3200/month after taxes in unemployment because of the additional $600 from federal. Doesn't fully make up the gap, but it's way better than just state for Ga, which would have been a little over $1200/month.

We have a second grader, he turns 8 on the 25th, and a 3.5 year old. We were both working from home prior to her being furloughed and it was almost impossible for both of us to work, home school the 2nd grader and keep up with the 3 year old.

She's in the meetings/event/hospitality industry, which I don't think is coming back for a long time, so she wants to start looking for another job, but at the same time, she doesn't want to have both of us working from home with two kids to deal with either like we had to initially. Crazy times.

They announced that on the news here last night. You can only fish, walk, or run if you go to the beach. No lounging around. I will probably take a sunrise run at St. Augustine Beach this weekend.
