Someone on the 247 board said he has a medical condition. Not sure if that’s mentioned by him or not

Turns out he’s another kid that had Covid-19. Sounds like he’s one of the unfortunate ones that are having complications from it

That ducks for him, but completely understand preserving the year of eligibility. With Wooten out, he could have made some big inroads, but if he’s struggling then he needs to focus on getting healthy.

This is going to be one crazy ride of a football season. Wish the best for everyone as far as health is concerned.

FWIHBT, he had one of the worst cases on the team and he may not be the last.

You have the same amount of eligibility if you play this year or you don’t.

You can play this year as a Sophomore and still be a sophomore next year

Is that right? This season essentially doesn’t exist for eligibility?

Per Dukes with Josh Marsh out Tanner Dean (walk-on) is next man up and is sneaky good. Dukes said he turns a lot of heads for a walk-on

As I posted in the Scrimmage thread Gus said zero positive tests the past 2 weeks on Saturday.

Dean made some plays on special teams last year if I'm remembering correctly

How will they adjust the numbers due to giving everyone a free year? Does that mean we will be able to have more than 85 next year?

Seniors returning for 2021 do not count towards the 85 limit.

But the rule will return to normal the next year

So which players either seniors or projected stat stuffers or injury cases will this help? Can you imagine if Tank runs for 1200 this year and then returns as a true freshman next year and stays throughout his eligibility.

I highly doubt KJ Britt returns.

Interesting. That will give some teams some unreal depth.
