Not happy about Flash not playing. Comments on Twitter.

Powers: "His arse should be out there playing. Who he think he is."

Daren Bates made a series of comments talking about how Flash's speed isn't enough to get him high in the draft. Said he needs to work on his WR skills anyway.

For reference, Powers played 8 years in the league as a DB. Bates is still in the league as a LB.

I like it when guys who are in the league still care about AU football.

Oh, and apparently Flash took all reference to Auburn off his Twitter bio.

Well, bye...

If he isn’t sure if he wants to be here, he sure doesn’t need to be around those that do.

Sometimes cutting out the cancer isn't comfortable.

Hope Harsin is a hardass. I can handle the next year or two sucking if he gets us on the proper trajectory.

I would prefer that they be positive or just not say anything. But that's just me.

For a painfully average football player, darren bates talks a big game.

He’s been in the NFL for 7 years. I wouldn’t call that “painfully average”. He doesn’t talk more than anyone else on Twitter (including Schwartz), yet he is in the tiny percentage of people that know what they’re talking about on this subject.

Well he has carved out the better part of a decade in the league.

That's at least "above average."

Average football players don’t play for 5+ years in the NFL.

After a quick glance at Schwartz’s Twitter, I feel pretty good about saying he won’t be back at Auburn

Bates was also a senior ‘team leader’ on the 2012 team.

Lookie lookie....like I said in another thread....

quote:

Schwartz has blazing speed.

The most OVERRATED skill in the NFL.

The NFL is big on technique, getting in and out of cuts, route running.

Tyreek Hill is more than just a fast guy. He was an All-Pro punt returner and he's extremely strong, has great hands and great leaping ability.

It isn’t the fricking point man. It’s the fact they are calling out pussy Schwartz for not playing for auburn. You can tell Bates and Powers just love Auburn.
