"We started the search with two goals. We want a coach who will lead our team to consistently compete at the highest levels and to make Auburn proud on and off the field. We found both in Coach Harsin.
Our search was diligent and thoughtful, and it is unfortunate that so much misinformation was spread in recent days about the process. I appreciate the leadership of Athletics Director Allen Greene and the hard work of members of our search advisory group. Welcome, Coach Harsin, to the Auburn family."
Our beat writers are frick heads.

Who would’ve thought a bunch of beat writers who are incentivized on subs, views, and clicks would push a narrative other than what’s accurate? Wow!

Sanders is the worst. It's blatant. I believe he listens to agents to much.

One thing I got out of this:

I was guilty. Only when Cubelic was on the radio saying he knew for a certain what happened with Napier. I was all in on him.
Happy with how it ended up though.

Yeah I melted
It didn't happen until the Napier rumor on Monday though for me. Then I started to panic.

Jay Gouge is a great President and a sports fan. Remember it was Leath who gave Gus a $49 million dollar contract for beating UGA.

There are a lot of things I'd criticize Jay Tate on but I think he's one of the better ones with this stuff.
I don't think he's necessarily right more than others but he seems to at least try to make sense of information he receives rather than immediately incite the masses

It's not like he would come out and admit the boosters ran everything. But in his defense, the fact no one mentioned Harsin's name til he was announced shows that either it was a spur of the moment call and he took the job on the spot or the insiders don't have a clue.
