Shot -19 on 54 holes. Frankly just insane. I may be mistaken but I think that is the new SEC record as well.

Relative the rest of his sport, has to be considered the greatest AU athlete ever.. no? Certainly highest achieving.

According to data golf, he’s the top rated amateur going back to 2010 the start of their database. Ahead of John Rahm and Jordan Spieth who are 2 & 3

Match play is really dumb to use as any sort of metric. It makes for some really exciting golf to watch though.

That is probably the most stressful, exciting tournament in a sport. It’s grueling. Go 3 days of stroke play just to get into Match play. I’d be stroked out if I was a parent

Rowdy Gaines was pretty impressive in his sport as well. 6 individual SEC championships and 8 SEC relay championships. Granted you "can" win multiple SEC titles in a single season with so many events.

The dude he was playing was fire. His chip shots last 3 holes was incredible. JK didn’t putt as well as we expect and that guy couldn’t miss

He came off as kind of a dick in the Grant Horvat youtube match. I'd probably be the same if I was that good at golf tho
