Hyperbole aside from the miserable weirdos this shite really seems real now.

How much longer can the recruits remain bought in.

We legitimately thought some USA Today guy was a hater for predicting 5-7 before the season. That guy was being generous.

Is Freeze going to be deeply wounded and scarred for life by this season even after he survives this season?

Agree. I thought we were looking at 7-6, really didn’t see this happening

We’re not getting blown out or anything but we’re just as inept somehow and it’s hard to explain why it feels the same - except the fact that as a fan I’m dead inside and it’s all bad anyways

If I were younger and more naive I’d maybe argue the freshman snap count or whatever but losing still sucks. I watched the Bama@UT game with a lifelong friend today and he felt things about football that died inside me about 8 years ago I think

Um Louisiana Monroe is 5-1… I ain’t confident we win that one honestly at this point. We have completely lost the ability to win close games

ULM is gonna come in expecting to win, not sure Auburn players will even be paying attention at that point

Mississippi State showing progress right now with a disaster of a roster and 1st year head coach is also a bitter pill of comparison for CHF and the mess he’s made at Auburn since November 2023

Loses start to stack up. The losing mentality sets in and its a hard thing to shake off. Momentum and outlook is huge is college football. And we have zero of any of that. They have started to believe they cant win. We have some players at big positions that are killing us but more of the issues are coming from the sidelines. Bad coaching, bad play calling, bad time management, etc.

We talk about one kind of game plan then do something totally diffrent. We needed some positive things to happen earlier in the season. I am not sure at this point in the season that anything could happen that would make a difference in the longrun.

I dont know what Freezes thoughts on next seasons QB but he needs to be bringing someone along the rest of the year. Even if he just plays them again Vandy and the cupcake. He has to be thinking that its possible he fails again in the portal and has to play with someone on the team right now.

Needs to be thinking about development at this point. This season is totally over.

4th and 2 really fricked us up. Thorne was playing well and ran into a really good defense and made a terrible frick up which led to the gameplan today. If Thorne played like he did against arkansas and plz don't make state the obvious when I say this, even Oklahoma, you have to think we score at least one more touchdown.

We were 3-4 at this point in 2022. Ready to shitcan potato boy. And rightfully so.

We are 2-5. In 2nd year. We were a better team last year with the potato remnants and Hugh not really coaching (he said it, not me).

We are so screwed.

shite, we’re worse than that. We’ve taken Vandy’s spot at the bottom.

Would anyone have ever thought?

It is just so disappointing and disheartening.

Don’t want to hear scumbag Hugh excuses. We hired a terrible human and we are paying for it.

I get your point but the potato remnants were the Gus remnants. Potato left us Hunter and K Scott.

But everyone talks about how we had nothing. #1 Hugh excuse. Yet he gets more of his guys in and regresses.

That is just not true. Harsin ran off most of the talent Gus left. If you want to go back and look at that list now, it will probably scare you

Harsin came in with a chip on his shoulder and anyone that was not going to eat his shite could GTFO. Now I personally like that type of coach but he needs to be able to back that up and be able to replace those guys that dont want to eat his shite.

Unfortunately, he either couldnt or was unwilling to replace them with guys Auburn needed

Harsin left us very little. There were very little Gus guys in quantity but you have to remember Harsin stuck with the Gus OL the whole time and would never recruit over them.

In 2023:
The OL were all Gus super seniors, Hugh transfers, and Lew. I cannot think of anything that Harsin left us.

The Potato WRs were Camden Brown and Koy Moore along with ineffective Hugh transfers. Those potato remnants sucked.

TEs: Gus guys and Hugh guy, Rivaldo

Defense: Another bag of Hugh freshmen, transfers, and senior Gus guys like Cam Riley, Jaylin Simpson, Nehemiah Pritchett, Steiner, etc. Potato can claim DJ James. I forgot about how he landed at Auburn.

We are in a shitstorm that isn’t going to be resolved anytime soon. I’m not sold on Freeze, but he gets another two years to figure it out.
