After seeing a 3 loss bama, who got blown out in the SECCG make it to the postseason, I am rethinking now.

I would love a bowl just for the practice for the boys and one more game. There’s hope around the program now.

Bama getting in over 10-2 vandy is a crime

They beat Vandy head to head.

I’m not gonna even begin to try and explain the committee’s logic.

Back to the original subject. AU is 2nd in line for a bowl invite behind Rice in order for all bowl slots to be filled. It appears KSU and Iowa St have opened two slots by declining bids to two bowl games. Interesting.

Looks like Notre Dame might back out too. I guess this might be the new trend. Does it limit who might transfer out due to no new tape?

I think I read this morning that AU had already told the various bowl committees that any bowl invites would be declined, as the program wants to focus on building the coaching staff and getting everything ready for 2026.
I could be wrong though - it was something that was in my suggested articles from Google on my phone.

So we gave up the opportunity to have a few weeks extra practice. Sounds like we are expecting some major player changes

College football has been this way for decades. Why I feel zero shame in claiming NCs like 83 and 04.
