I agree. But KLS was open behind the defense. Hunter couldn’t get it there and probably thought he could when he threw it.
He shouldn’t have been put in that position. We were driving. We were frickING DRIVING.
Easily could have gotten at least into field goal range.

Exactly. I bet that was drawn up on the sideline to make matters worse. No way it was ever practiced.
