Exactly. I want to see a competitive team that battles and looks at least competent in a loss. We don’t do that.

there seems to be quite a bit of rumbling that it was Leath/prominent booster who pushed the Malzahn deal, not Jay Jacobs

I'd consider that verifiable facts at this point. PM has written on it extensively and he wouldn't report that if he didn't have a couple of sources that would know. It's actually a step further. Leath did it after a subset of trustees tried to stop it. Nobody had an issue with the raise and extension, but several were concerned about the guaranteed money.

Gus has his issues. We all know that, but Stidham’s camp doesn’t have a leg to stand on. He’s played like shite and isn’t pulling his weight. They can all shut the frick up.

Well it’s up to Gus to bench his butt and play somebody that gives a damn

yeah I laughed pretty hard at this. Sadly.

Part of this shite is just common sense. The other part is bullshite.

Also if Stidham’s guardian or whatever he is, is openly criticizing his head coach, then Stidham needs better role models. That’s not a good look. Especially when Stidham routinely overthrows wide arse open receivers.

Stidham is disconnected from the team, save for a few close friends

Everyone knows he and Cox are buddies. I saw this on the sideline Saturday. I believe it was after he overthrew Slayton on the reverse pass ( could be wrong on that as the alcohol had started to flow), but he and Cox were over there yuckin' it up by themselves and someone walked by, Stidham says something and follows the guy looking like he was waiting on a response, and whoever it was just kept walking. Cox looks at him and you could tell he was basically saying "Ahh frick him man, we will get this thing right". Just what I saw and *think* was going on based on body language and all.

This should be Cox w/His seniority and supposed toughness and attitude, but he has firmly hitched himself to Stidham and in doing so probably shunned some guys who've been there before Stidham.

It isn’t unheard of for a player other than QB1 to be the offensive leader. See Kodi in 2010.

That's why I said just looking at it from the outside with the seniority and doing the unheralded work that Cox does, it should be him. But he is stuck so far up Stidham's arse, he can't breathe and alienated a lot of teammates he had before Stidham got here.

BM is taking heat for all of this on twitter and on PMs boards. perhaps he should've kept it to himself

BM always takes a negative slant to his stories. BUT in this case he speaks the truth. We have been frustrated by the offense, the players know it better than us.

he posted on twitter last night that his subscribers were asking that he be fired, and move away from Auburn.

I understand not liking what he writes. but he is an insider just like Matthews. Marshall. Tate. his job is to report whatever he is hearing concerning Auburn Athletics it may not be 100% accurate. but hes just doing his job

AU football is a dumpster fire and the only way to save it is to rid ourselves of GM now. Bring in a Jeff Brohm or Jeff Heupel, offensive minded head coaches and hopefully keep our D coaches and recruits. No reason to put off and let AU football slip into a deeper hole. Yes it’s going to be expensive but look at what we just accomplished on our funding campaign. We can do this!

If some fans are having a problem with this then they are part of the problem. It's obvious our team is having major issues. Some of the stuff in the article maybe a stretch, but I have no doubt most of it is true. It doesn't take a genius to see what's going on in our locker room. How long before all this starts to effect recruiting?

I think BM gets so much hate due to his delivery of info and his general smug attitude towards AU. He seems like he takes pleasure in AU turmoil.
