KN basically confirmed it was supposed to be Young as well. Steele is having a rough start

Goodwin signed with LSU.

A new coach can re-recruit MAR if he wants. I hope he stays, but Tank won’t come off the field except for a quick breather occasionally if I’m the OC next season.

I’m glad LSU stood by Goodwin after his injury. Oh wait!

Don't worry. We will let Steele fix everything.

Our boy Harold Joiner landed at Michigan State. Wish him well.

He will probably rush for 1200 and 14TDs next year. Regardless can't blame someone that was 5th string looking to transfer if they have a chance at a P5 school. But will point out that none of the transfers in the Gus era has done crap at their new school unless they went down in division. Cowart I think is the only one that went on to get picked up by the NFL but I don't remember him doing crap in college.

Harold is a unique talent. He has RB/TE/WR characteristics and that flexibility wasn’t much important because we didn’t use him like a Swiss Army knife. I’m sure if he stayed longer he would’ve had a better role.

Whether transfers do well after Gus doesn’t say much to me either. If they do well elsewhere then that means they were worthy scholarship players so we weren’t pissing in the wind when we signed them. Sometimes players like Alvin Kamara, Corey Grant, etc just find themselves at super stacked positions

So players can transfer this year without sitting.... would this also have any impact on the just signed?

(or just wishful thinking)

Saw where the committed recruits already talked to KN. They seemed excited

That’s the big thing, signing the guys that chose to wait until February to sign.

They should be, they signed with our a HC. But seriously it shows their character and I am glad this has worked out.

I do hope we keep MAR

The 247 Article? If so what did you make of this comment "But I will say that it will be interesting how he treats the people Gus (Malzahn) was already recruiting."

I don't think it should matter if they don't fit the system he runs.

I think the players that Gus recruited weren't like Tony Franklin. They would fit pro style as well as pro spread.

That comment came from an uncommitted 2022 guy so it makes sense that he’s most interested in whether he has an offer now or not

Iowa State DT is transferring. Probably to join Harsin.

Latrell Bankston.

quote:

While we may not know for a little bit exactly where he’s going or why he’s decided to leave Ames, early speculation is that he could be headed to Auburn to join new Tigers coach Bryan Harsin, whom offered Latrell a scholarship to Boise State while in JUCO.

Bankston later on tells our Rivals team that he loves Harsin and thinks Harsin will turn things around for Auburn.

Good, let him transfer, put JJ Pegues on the defensive line and we have the makings of stopping the run.
