Congrats Lanier. Kinda neat to watch you talk about moving south for years, and you're finally doing it. I hope to have the balls to do something similar in about 10 years. I hope Florida treats you and the Mrs right.

Thank you man. Im hoping Florida treats us as good as Georgia has. We have been blessed and very fortunate. I dont take that lightly.

Yea, we have talked about this for a while. We were not actually planning on going till the end of next year but a opportunity appeared and I just didnt see the use of waiting any longer. The wife and I just said, lets do it and never have looked back since that night

Hopefully the next years will bring more opportunities an we will be able to take advantage of them like we did here. Im looking to make some personal changes as well as business ones. Need to move forward.

If you have a goal in life, make a plan. Just keep working on it as hard as you can. You can make it happen if you dont make excuses and let yourself quit

It will happen

Lanier should give a pre-game pep talk for at least one of our games this season. Which game? I would say game #2 before PSU week 3. WHO SHOULD be coming in and giving pep talks, teaching history to both players AND coaches about what it means to lay your guts on any field, any where and wherever you are, always. Even with Tequila puke and no temporary recollection of the day before. That is the true Auburn spirit and the stories we need to pass down and get these kids fired up.

TL/DR - Who will CBH bring in to talk to the team pregame, pep talks, etc, besides Caddy. I would look to Ronny Brown or Jason Campbell if possible. Bo before any game, Charles before Bama. Tre, depending on how he is doing, Nick Marshall, who would probably communicate as simply, directly and easily with team more than anyone, and would make for rousing commentary (last I heard, he is doing great things as is Demond Washington in Canada as are a large number of former AU and SEC players). Nick's is actually about a good of a story as you could hear most days.

Sunisa??? Bruce? Who would / could / should CBH and AU bring in to taaalk to the team, when and why if you have any opinions. I am seriously all ears.

Still TL / DR:

If you mean my wife, no. And she wont totally either. She will actually be staying here in Georgia for a few months after I go south. Since our move just kinda happened fast, she did not start the process of getting her Pharmacy license transfered. So, she is working on that now and she will keep her job here while she does.

Her job takes care of our insurance so we cant really have her quit and not be covered so she is staying with her brother and my son and I will be down south till she is ready.

Im expecting her to do a 3 day per week, 10 hour per day schedule in Florida.

Damn, talk about an air of finality.

Reminds me of cleaning out my parents' house last December. Nothing left but four walls and memories.

Freep, you got that right. I felt like Walter White at the end of Breaking Bad down there yesterday. Glad I was alone.

I spend a lot of time in that dungeon over the past few years. Lots of late nights, early morning and full days. I made and sold over 2 million dollars worth of fishing lures out of that little space. Lots and lots of $5 items.

I honestly am not a sentimental person but it was weird completing the final order Thursday and then breaking it all down Friday. Its the first part of this move that felt like finality other than moving forward. Dont even know why.

All getting packed on a truck today and tomorrow then driven to the sunshine state Monday morning through Tropical Storm Fred. I guess Florida is greeting us with open arms

Having lived on the coast for over 20 years of my life, let me just say get the whole-home natural gas pwr automatic generator, installed well above 14' (as I hope is your house). Have a evac plan, and have all the supplies you need well before the season. 2 weeks with no power will make you a believer.

Nobody will do it for you baw. If you want it, what ever it is, just do it yourself and dont wait. Its my one sliver of advice I will give to younger people out there. Dont make excuses, dont wait for someone to do something for you. Make a plan, work the problems and make it happen... YOURSELF!!

I wish I would have known that small thing when I was much younger. I waited around and did not do things I wanted to do because I thought there would be plenty of time.

There isnt

Im thinking it will be smooth transition.

My emotions have been all over the place for two months. Now im just a tad nervous and a lot excited and ready. The first night we move in (Sep 1st), I plan on sitting out by the pool with my wife, cracking the top on a brand new bottle of Clase Azul and taking a few shots to celebrate. Tomorrow when I offload my business in a new place, it will feel very real

Staying all week down there this week to get the business all set up, take care of a few details and relax in the evenings. I have a house on the island rented and me and my help will chill one more time before the madness gets back going next week
