I mean that is fine and all, I’d you’re into that sort of thing. I prefer my steak in front of me and not in picture form, but it’s fine otherwise.

Perfectly cooked. Excellent. I started using my Primo this year for most of my grilling. I have been using a gasser for ever. I could get my steaks perfect on the gasser but I am always overcooking them on the primo.

Ive gotten them perfect a few times but I just haven't gotten the feel for it yet with steaks..

The key steaks on the ceramic grills is either a reverse sear or a sous vide. It’s all about temp control.

Yea, I have had a friend who knows that method over one weekend and did that. They were good. But honestly, I think my steaks on my gasser were better. Salmon on the other had, rock on the ceramic.

That steak looks damn good 96.

I really like Florida. I never have been down to where Lanier is going. I have a friend relocating to the Panhandle this month. I lived in Santa Rosa Beach for 7 years. My wife wanted to move back to the mountain states though.

I would definitely return to Florida.

So you need to convince her it's Florida in the winter and Colorado all summer long.

The wife loves that area. What soccer mom doesnt?

One of my reasons for moving down was to be able to enjoy the heat 12 months a year. The panhandle still gets cold in the winter. Too cold to do certain activities. Plus, I think it is more crowded.

Im hoping we are far enough south to avoid the cold. cant avoid the crowds. They will eventually get us all.

I like the area we are going to be in. Close to a lot of things I like to do. Hopefully I will get to meet Tiger88 down there. Maybe he needs a job. LOL

Or maybe he has always wanted to own a bait company.

I threw the offer out there. Was hoping someone wanted their own bait business.

Au96 didn't step up either.

I've seriously thought about sending you an email just to inquire as to the price. My wife owns a business. We will probably (80%) buy a local bakery when the owner retires for my daughter. She's currently the pastry chef at a local restaurant. Not sure if we could handle another small business...... BUT, this software company I work for FINALLY is letting us go back to the office after a year and a half. IF, you provide proof of vaccination, then you don't have to wear a mask all day! Isn't that wonderful?!?!?

The only reason I went to work here is the proximity to my house. The corporate HQ is 10 mins from me and against traffic both ways. Well, like 90% of the employees said they'd prefer to work remote. When they finally said they'd let us go back and then wrapped that vaccine requirement around it, I thought I was gonna puke. It's insane.

Anyway, I've often wondered about doing my own deal, but I see how hard my wife works. It's nice to be able to turn it off Friday at 5PM and not worry about it again until Monday. Also, my job has benefits which as a small business owner, I don't have to tell you how Obamacare ruined that for the little guy.

I dont even know how many hours I actually work per week. I dont dare try to count. I am going to lose a 7 year employee when I relocate and it is going to really hurt. I will be looking for two people as soon as my arse hits the sand.

Fortunately for us, my wife takes care of the insurance with her job. Gives me some freedom to take some chances. Id love to sell the business but looks like we are taking it with us and I will just get set up and expand down there. More than likely add a saltwater line of terminal tackle to start with then expand. I am just a glutton for punishment I guess.

Making my own chatterbaits and punch skirts lately. I needed a chatterbait that would come through laydowns and really needed a weedguard. Mine work great and gives me something to do instead of staring at the computer screen.

I'm sure you're a fiberglass guy, but you have any opinions between a new Skeeter FXR or a GatorTrax Strike Series? I've always had an aluminum bass boat, but wanted something a little heavier that rode better and I didn't have to drive like a NASCAR racer. Both are big and stable.

It is horrible which is why I am not sure where we would come to. I loved living there but we just went there middle of June for a wedding and I was shocked how busy and crowded it was. So much construction.

Cold is relative to me. Panhandle doesn’t get mountain states cold with snow and ice to navigate. I like some warmth but not 365 and hotter in summer.

Centtak California ( Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez) was perfect when I lived there but I wouldn’t live in California ever again.

One of my best friends has a 2020 FXR 21. Love everything about that boat but the hull design. Not super crazy about the looks of it but my biggest issue is the bouncing bow. Everytime you back off it and slow down, the porpoising is horrible. Thing needs a old school whale tail

90K boat and it bounces like a hoopty.

Depending upon the state that you live asking for proof of vaccination is actually a violation of the law. Also a technical violation of your HIPPA rights. There might be a violation of their employee handbook also and policies of singling people out. i.e. vaccination status. Are they doing that with TB people or other types? No then they are setting themselves up for a lawsuit if someone wanted to pursue it. Also, your insurance may not cover adverse affects of the vaccination. I had to advise our CIO of what he could or couldn't ask us in his leadership meeting...slippery slope.

Yep we will have to get together when you are done here. As far as a job, currently covered but would like to learn about what you do as I am always interested in production and how to do things...

I have a relative from Virginia who tells me the hottest he’s ever felt was in Pensacola, FL. And the coldest he’s ever felt was also in Pensacola, FL.

Something about a cold, wet 35 degree January day just chills you to the bone. Sometimes even more so than snow in the single digits.

Congrats on the move Spots. I knew you had been planning it for quite awhile, must be pretty exciting to see it come to fruition.

And I think you’ll enjoy DeSantis Country
