All I knew was Superman was in it, and I think he’s an excellent actor. So I gave it a shot. It’s based on a video game.

That’s the catch, unfortunately. Long story short, I helped a friend of mine at CU volunteer time for kids to develop business models free of charge. I didn’t accept compensation but my knowledge of the tech was fair compensation.
One group exceeded expectations and tried to hire me. After several rejections they’ve reeled me in and I spend a lot of time with the DoD now. These kids are working on integrated AI with implications for veterans, folks with MS, etc. DC would give me more family time and that’s becoming a priority now.
Probably won’t be a forever place for us but waking up at 4am isn’t working for us anymore

I can't imagine losing a child, I'm not sure I could ever get past it. I'm sorry for your tremendous loss and I hope you continue to see her in the things you do daily and you find some peace.
I'm happy for you Mrs Lanier is southbound soon. It's fun to be a bachelor for a few days, but gets old quickly. Especially if you married right.
I feel your pain TTsTowel. I woke up at 1:51 AM and my digestive tract hit full reverse 3 times. I have no idea why, I haven't puked in years. I did eat some raw oysters last night...so that's gotta be it.
I'm headed to enemy territory for the SEC Champ game. Huge uga fans invited a big group over. There are about 6 of us AU fans that will be quietly cheering for the refs, giant meteor or a sinkhole. Hopefully, we'll all still be friends after.
