This is a fact. I love my girls but I know I don’t give them the time they deserve. But I don’t think we are mentally geared to think that way either. You are there to protect. You’d do anything for them and that’s why it stings today.
I talk to my girls and they’re little chatter boxes, 7 and 5, or play with them. and after an hour im over it. I tell my wife come take over because my ears hurt.

Late night driving from our Carolinas home to our Birmingham home. Driving an old car in the Alabaster AL Christmas parade tomorrow with the Grand Marshall.
Hoped to get an earlier start but we have been monitoring a 400+ acre wildfire ~2400 yards from our property. Thankfully they seem to be getting it under control.
Obviously can't drink on the road tonight, so following Corch's lead with the Dr. Pepper. Did, however, spend much of the paycheck at two ABC stores this afternoon. Stocking up for the season. Tomorrow we sample the wares.
Jones, make me some Latkes.
