First one down here literally opened up across the street from first In-n-Out here.

The second one will be across the street from the second In-n-Out here.

It's a fat person's dream. Cars sitting in drive thru lines for hours on end to get a fast food burger.

whataburger is the GOAT fast food burger

I wouldn't go that far. Now it is better your your standard national chains (McD's, BK, Wendy's). Now Whataburger breakfast menu is damn good, especially those taquitos.

My MIL is from coastal Texas, so for her family and my wife (no pics) it is a thing. I don't know if they really like it that much, or just because they are have been rare this far east. There is one opening next year by Mall of Georgia, so within about a 10 minute radius of me there will be a Whataburger, Culvers, and Five Guys.

This made me think, in the very near future, every place that I lived as a student at Auburn will be gone.
--When I first came to campus I lived at the CDV Extension down where Roosevelt (now Heisman) deadended into Wire. They tore that complex down and I think it is all now parking.
--Then one summer I lived in the CD Village proper. Now those units are gone and now parking and the band practice field.
--I moved off campus to an apartment at 114 West Mag. Was booted from that apartment when they converted that part of the building into a Marble Slab ice cream shop. Not sure if there is anything in the upstairs of that building now.
--I then moved into an apartment above Anders Bookstore, now it is about to be torn down and have a hotel built there.

Greystone? That must have just popped up. Culvers by me in Stadium Trace. Culvers is great and has great ice cream. I personally believe the Whataburger's and fries are a couple notches above. Their new design and look will be the first in Hoover when it opens soon.

Yeah, Culver's is pretty good, and much better than Whataburger. Shake Shack is the best of the fast food burger joints to me though.

Culver's is tGOAT fast food burger hands down. I hope they expand to the south more.

I’m not saying I love In-N-out. I think it’s “ok”. Just prefer it to Whataburger.

Now, Culver’s is great. There’s one in round rock (north of Austin). Cheese curds, onion rings and shakes are great. So are the burgers.

Don’t count how? I graduated from Auburn in the 2000s. Grew up in alabama. Live in Texas now for work.

I live in Thomas and Cox Sts for my four years there. I’m amazed every time I go back and see what has happened to that area.

I spent a year on Genelda. My old duplex still lives, but the once large back yard is no more and I suspect its days are numbered.
