You sure said "you" a lot. I didn't do any of the things YOU said, especially the quote above. frick you.

You literally said that we need to let him hire a "REAL OC" and let that OC hired assistants you fricking moron.

Your implication is that we are going to fix this by having Freeze relinquish his hold of the offense. THAT IS WHAT YOU SAID.

Dumb-frick.

Name a successful program that doesn't have both a real offensive and defensive coordinator. Those that do, which is most of them, don't all have a CEO coach. Kirby is a defensive minded coach but he has a DC that is actually responsible for the defense. Sure, he gives input but he allows others to do their job. All I said was that Freeze needs to do the same but then You chose to go on the attack. You have issues.

I have watched us struggle offensively for 10 years in a row now. From Gus’ stubbornness, to Harsin’s futility, to Hugh’s absolute commitment to play into the strengths of an opposing defense, we have wasted some championship caliber defenses for a long time now.

Our offenses are consistently worse under these “offensive geniuses” than when we were a physical running team.

We have been down this road with Gus. It's deja vu all over again.

This is all true. I hated the Freeze hire for a myriad of reasons but we did because we couldn't get better. A lot of why we couldn't get better is because we're, rightfully, considered an unstable athletic program. My argument in all of this is if we fire Freeze today, that will only increase this perception. Now, if our incompetent AD actually has a plan - he doesn't - and if our PTB actually agree with it - they're infighting - then I'm all for it.

We screwed the pooch firing Gus because we had no plan and each hire afterwards has been because they said yes. I don't have the answer and I'm as frustrated as everyone else but we somehow need to break this cycle.

Those of us that saw this crap coming a couple years ago expressed much concern when we heard about multiple play callers and who was calling the plays. Yes, we had been through this with Gus year after year and knew what was coming.

But of course we were called idiots that didn’t know anything about football.

The fact is the majority of this board acts like they are football geniuses but in fact don’t know shite. That is a fact. It’s been proven. You can’t argue it.

I don't recall Gus ever being THIS bad at offense and convert 0 third downs. Hell I went to college station in 19 and watched us carve TAMU up in the first half and walk away with a win.

This is another level of incompetence. ONE drive wins us the last two games and an offense-oriented HC can't get it done.

DJ Durkin is improving his stock each game as the national media raves about the defense and shits on our offense.

You forgot about Jeremy Johnson and the Whirlybird years? I'm not defending Freeze, but one thing is clear. We had a chance to win against OK and TAM. Same with last season. How many games would we have won if we had a kicker? People forget about the blow outs and embarrassing losses to very inferior opponents.

Huh? Find a game where a JJ led team didn't convert 1 third down. Did we suffer any losses worse than NM State?

We are in a much worse situation offensively at this moment.

I get really upset thinking about Cam Coleman. It is criminal what Hugh is doing to this guy. He is one of the two or three very best WR in the country. Singleton as well.

You have to get the ball into the hands of your playmakers, difference makers. No matter what.

I remember seeing Randy Campbell talking about in the Tangerine Bowl in 82 and Coach Dye said get the ball to Bo and the OC was telling him if the pitch was not there to keep it. Coach Dye grabbed him by the facemask and said I don't care what happens, you get the ball to Bo! The pitch was not there, Randy pitched it over the defenders head, Bo one handed it behind him and tightroped into the endzone.

Any coach worth a damn should know to get the ball into the hands of their playmakers, their best players. It is a no brainer. Do whatever you have to do. The coach should be in JA's face telling him, I don't care what happens out there, you find a way to get the damn ball to Cam or Singleton!

Coleman

Even the announcers in the game were like "put him in the slot, put him in motion, line him up in the backfield...."

No excuse to trot him out wide every time with a safety siting on top of him all game.

I remember Julio at Bama they used him like a swiss army knife. Not just a jump ball guy.

Coleman definitely hitting the portal.
Singlton probablly has enough tape from GT to go pro and have a decent grade.

Just go watch the Clemson game where like 5 different players took snaps and you will be reminded. The offensive woes didn't start with Freeze. And im firmly off the Freeze train.

I was at that game. Sadly our offense was better than Saturday.
