Its not like I am asking what other people are selling seats for here. You get what you pay for, if you want a seat, you can pay for it. No one has a right to the seat except me, I paid for it. I made my TUF donations for it. If you prorate the TUF to correspond to face values, the ticket cost me $195

The buyer's demanding he get's to sit there is not being a dick, but trying to put stipulations on the sale is.
If I sell it to you at a discount and explicitly say “I’m selling this to you on the condition that you won’t sit there” and then you agree to it but proceed to sit there anyway, you’re a massive dick. No ifs and or buts about it.

It’s not really outrage. We’re just laughing at the thought of him thinking someone would take it/the idea that somebody would buy it and sit there anyway.

Everyone that sits behind, in front, and to the side of me are friends. You can be sure as Hell that it won’t be comfortable either.
You get what you pay for. $150 is $125 off the cheapest ticket, after fees, on stubhub currently. That’s almost half off general admission and less than what I have into the tickets. My tickets are lower level and go for much more than that, but again I am not charging for that seat, if you don’t pay for it.

Ill give you $50 for it. I'm on the fence about going down for the game but might since the gf is going out of town.
Edit: I don't mind standing either. Actually prefer to stand.

I wont call security and never said anything like that but you will be damn sure your photo and contact info will be posted on the rant for quite some time and probably in my sig as well...
Pretty sure that's not allowed bit even if who cares? Are people from the Rant going to want to contact a random poster for no reason?
I'm just busting your balls really, do what you want with the ticket. Like I said I'd definitely buy a ticket at a discounted rate and actually prefer standing but not having a seat for a packed game like this is a pain.

Yes. I can bring it by your tailgate on Saturday if you want.

Send me a email tomorrow. I have a few feelers out there tonight. I buy tickets every week and never sit in the seats. We always have open seats around us

This is without a doubt the stupidest thing I have ever read on here. And I have been on here a really long time. I mean you really believe you can put this stipulation on a ticket.
And anyone can rent a seat back before the game to put on the seat to protect their space.

I am going to be honest. It really isn't. People are making a big deal out of it
I will be buying one ticket this week for my son or a friend who will not sit in the seat. We do it every game.

The stupid part is thinking that the person that buys the ticket can't sit in the seat if they really want to. If you sell that seat to someone and they decide to sit there anyway there is nothing you could do about it.
That being said the last two games I have been to I have given a scholarship seat ticket to a random person looking for a seat. I have 4 seats and my son gets a student ticket now and we have an extra. Both times neither person showed up. So I assume that they would rather stand somewhere than sit with my crazy arse.

He’s putting it on this board with that stipulation up front. I don’t see why that’s stupid. Is it stupid to hold someone to their word?

People buy tickets to squeeze an extra into their current seats, People buy tickets because they sit in the handicapped section, People buy tickets and stand on the ramps and a large amount of people buy tickets for their kids who sit on their lap. Those people dont want to pay the market rate for a big game like this. But I guess that's dumb
If you buy a ticket at a steep discount with a stipulation that you are not welcome in the seat and sit there anyway or sell it at a profit to someone else who isnt aware of the stipulation, you are a massive dick.
If you want to try to squeeze in next to the big guy next to me, have at it, but you wont be taking room from me, you can be sure of that. I have been in these seats for years and so have all the others around me( we are all pretty close, sans the guy next to us, but he is still somewhat of a friend), so you can be assured a knee will be in your back, you wont have any room side to side, and it wont be comfortable

If you buy a ticket at a steep discount with a stipulation and fail to follow through you are an a-hole. Like I stated I cant enforce it with the stadium, but you wont be comfortable. I can guarantee that...
Cheapest Single on SH is $282 as of today, so that is a $130 discount. Again you get what you pay for, if you want a seat pay the extra $130

So you buy the ticket at a discount knowing the stipulation then you proceed to break your word and he’s the a-hole? Ok

I wouldn't personally do it but you damn well better be prepared for someone to. People do crazy stuff all the time but this is the first time I have heard of someone selling a seat you can't sit in.
If I were really serious about doing this I would find someone who wanted the ticket. I would tell them they could get in for free but you have to go through the gate with me. I would show both tickets to the ticket person and say he's with me. Now they are in and can't sit in the seat because I have the ticket.
