I grew up a fan, got my degree there, worked three jobs there, including for the AD. I lived in Auburn for nearly a decade. I guarantee Gus has shaved years off my life with every single near win and mind numbing loss.
I've given a lot to this school, and I'm not going to let someone tell me, or anyone else who's a fan and who's not. It's ridiculous.

He is 0-10 in BR, Athens, and Tuscaloosa.
SC has beaten UGA more that we have in the last 10 years. He is 1 fluke play away from being 1-6 against Georgia.
Next year will be more of the same or worse.

I’m still not seeing a path to a NY6 game. Correct me if I’m wrong, but assuming UGA loses, they will be the SEC NY6 participant. After UGA, the next team would be UF. I’m also not convinced we’d be slotted ahead of Alabama.

I agree. I dont think we will either. We win out and GA loses to LSU, they will get the game over us and possibly Bama.

I remember going to AU games and the crowd chanting it great to be an Auburn Tiger after a hard fought loss.
Nowadays we are saturated with a bunch of whiny folks that just complain. Maybe it’s just message boards.
Gus has done a lot for AU and for some reason, has been absolutely ridiculed every year for every loss etc
I’ll enjoy Saturday’s game and be all in with the staff and team because that’s the only way for me. If the coach can’t get it done and the AD changes course I won’t complain about that either.
If it means that much, I’ll try to be AD.
Gus was once called high school and now everyone runs the same offense. He pulled us out of 2008 and 2012, still straight hate by so many.

Win or lose, bowl projections have us playing either Wisconsin or Minnesota in a Florida-based bowl. I hope it's Minnesota and Fleck. I feel like we have played Wisconsin in a bowl game every 3 or 4 years for the past 20 years...

It's primarily message boards but the media has picked up on it and uses it against us. Of course, other teams do to when recruiting against us.

Other teams fans are just as bad. We are message boards fans. My entire family of AU grads are just as rabid as me as a fan, but they aren’t internet message boarders and have a generally more optimistic view of everything over me. This shite is like heroine, I know it’s bad for me but I can’t shake it.
