It would look better today than it did yesterday...

But still looks pretty rough, tbh.

With unbridled enthusiasm right up until I can call all the plays before they're run because Gus is calling them.

He wouldn't be here more than a year, but would probably keep us from being able to fire Gus next year.

I think it would all depend on the OL. Bryant with our young weapons has a lot of potential.

I think Freeze would be great, but we don't have the talent on the O-line or RB (Good WR's about it). I also think Kelly Bryant would be a massive fail.

Hate to say it, but if I was Freeze, I would take the UT job.

I would be hopeful that it could be a good reset year.

Best case scenario, Freeze comes in, gets control, wrecks shite. But then, we lose him to another HC job. Maybe watching that helps Gus see the error in his ways and he finally adapts (embraces what actually made him successful). Gus coaches at AU for the next 15 years, wins 3 NCs and goes down as the greatest AU coach in history.

I would view it the same as any other GusShortBus season: 7-5 with a bowl loss

Would Gus Malzahn still be the head coach?

Yes?

Then nothing changes my mind yet.

After reading the rant, it would at least be funny.

Need some humor after this season.

I'd laugh at the Arky, Mizz, Moo U melt, but not sold on the dude. We've got plenty of issues outside of a 1 year castoff to worry about.

It wont matter other than a couple miracle plays and Kerryon Jonson healthy. Gus is a perenial 7-5 coach, Sumbitch wont vacate his own way.

Pay them both. Win it. Worry about the rest later.

Yeah I'm not convinced of a title, but he would mean we don't have to start a freshman next year.
