Yeah I mean I'm worried about that too.
But I think our only shot may be a completely apathetic fan base and being confronted with a lame duck year where everyone wants you gone and the program has absolutely no momentum. Your next job prospects aren't great now, but they'll be particularly dismal after a sleepwalking season where everyone knows you're getting fired and the on-field performance probably matches that reality.
Long shot, but probably the best footing Auburn has for negotiating a palatable buyout. Honestly, the idea that we can't afford to pay the buyout without negotiation (meaning we're stuck with Gus and he's stuck with us for a miserable year or two) is probably a key component of that.

Isn't that what we have had for the most part since like 2017? I know I've been completely apathetic about Auburn Football since the 2017 LSU game. Since that game it hasn't upset me for us to lose because I almost expect it when we play anyone with a pulse.
I mean is anyone SUPER surprised that USCe beat us? I thought we would win, I wanted us to win, but I wasn't surprised in the least bit when we didn't.
I don't want us to lose any games. Not the 1st one. But at this point it would shock me if we win another game.
Pruitt fired Jimmy Brumbaugh during or immediately after (varying reports) the game last weekend. Pruitt said basically hey if it's not working out it's best to make the change immediately than waiting for the inevitable. I sure wish the University would look at Malzahn that way

Where's the choice for being too apathetic to care. It's almost impossible for me to root for Auburn to lose but losing is the only way to move forward.

No the reason I got banned is because I told Titan to quit following me around and harassing him because I made him look like a fool for saying Josh Moon had creditable sources on the Bob Stoops to Auburn story. True and it's horrible for the seniors but for the rest of the kids it's going to keep happening for the rest of their careers if a change isn't made.

We are already seeing the effect of the poor start and negative recruiting due to GM in our tecruiting. I don’t see us winning too many more games. Regardless, the overwhelming majority of gans are done with GM. Rip off the bandaid and get a new coach.
