We were good enough to go 7-5 or 8-4 this season and herped and derped our way to a losing season.
I have zero expectations this season. If we beat Georgia and it’s not via some flukey plays, I will have some hope.
I don't give a shite how we beat Georgia. If we beat them on a fluke play it means the magic is back.

I don't disagree but if you have superior Jim and Joes it can cover up for a lot of shortcomings elsewhere.

Several of our last QB's might argue that's a moot point without an offensive line.

We do have superior guys, and should have leadership as well. I still contend this yr we lost 2 games strictly due to FG kicking.
It’s all on Freeze, can he make the right decisions

Superior Jims and Joes tend to create fluke plays. Experienced superior Jims and Joes tend to turn normal plays into flukes.

To answer the question we are good OL and DL play away. If we have a combo of very good play at both position groups we are in the playoffs

This past year's AU blue chip ratio was mid-pack at best in the SEC, and well below average in terms of experience. And you are correct that we lost 2 games just because of kicking, which is a tribute to coaching, Our kicking looked solid right up until McGough got the yips.

I have been saying Throne sucked and I have never wavered. I have also said that Hugh Freeze is a total shite game day coach from the very very beginning and I have not wavered.
I am not sure what is so difficult to understand

You are right.
2 games this year were flatly won by the players and snatched away by CHF.
Any imbecile could have won the Oklahoma and Missouri games.

The Oline was the best it’s been in years this past year.

Was it good enough to win games? Nope.
Posted on 12/23/24 at 11:23 am to CorchJay
Yes, hence the multiple 1 score games that could’ve easily been won without the turnovers.

What is blue chip ratio next yr?
Freeze is partially to blame for the time management aspect but kickers got to kick. Mcgugh was highly rated

21 rushes for 97 yards against Vandy is what you are cheering for.
110 rushing yards against Missouri is what you are cheering for.
When does UTEP get Robby Ashford?
lololol

As I pointed out above, it takes BOTH blue chip ratio AND experience playing together to win. Even with their WR's out, we were solidly behind OU on BCR.
In experience terms, I can tell you we were well below both Missou and OK, and probably Ark as well - we were bottom three in the league. I believe we were also behind Vandy as well.

Your argument makes no sense logically. Oklahoma beat us with a true freshman QB making his first career start. We had the FAR more "experienced" QB and OL, and that is worth 10x the "experience" anywhere else on the field. Nobody gives a shite if you are starting true freshman WR's.
So no, Oklahoma could not possibly have been "more experienced". What a crock of shite.
