Full celebration mode at my house. My 83 year old dad who graduated from Auburn is dancing in the living room.

I have restored hope in our coach. Another upset or two and we have something to build on for next year.

21 yrs ago, who remembers seeing her all over the message boards?

She could very well have kids in school at UGA who've never witnessed a home loss to Auburn. Until today.

21 pt underdogs, on the road... to quote the legendary Larry Munson, "I had given up, so had you" when uga was up 14 - 0. Going in, best I was expecting was another good effort, maybe better after the bye-week, but not much else.

Fondly had memories of being in Athens in '99. Wondered for a moment..naw, no way that happens again. Right?

I kept waiting on us to blow it but luckily we didnt.

The first 2 drives looked like what I expected for the game but Durkin and Golesh found something that was working.

The defense, at times, looked like what I expected coming into the year and weren't arm tackling and missing every other tackle.

We do lack alot after 1st string.

I was a junior in school and actually enrolled at UGA that year (family matter reasons - nothing more). Framed that girls picture on my wall that semester.

There’s a new one floating around now.

That was so therapeutic- like I dont care right now how the season shakes out (i will - but not right now in the moment).

Beating #1 UGA in Athens after the shite we endured over a decade. That’s all I needed to make this season a positive.

This will have HUGE returns for Golesh regardless of how we finish. The proof of concept is there now - we just need the players to make it an every week deal

This is such a huge shot in the arm for Golesh and the staff, players. Props to him and wow, that emotion in the post game on field interview. He did Auburn proud. I can think of some other coaches who act like total clowns ( Dabo comes to mind) and I really like what the world saw with Coach G today.

No, this isn't a turning of the tide, but I'm gonna enjoy this for all its worth. Got spoiled under the Dye and Tuberville eras, and it's been a drought in the last 20 yrs vs uga.
