He was not good last night. They were not good last night. Weirdly Oates started 3 bigs and played 3 bigs quite a bit all at the same time.

My son was telling me that the Pepperdine transfer is redshirting? He also said one of the Freshman is redshirting. They have another transfer who's hurt and not playing.

Oates roster managerment his offseason was awful. He had too many guys.

He's got some issues with rotations for sure. Hard to have 3 6'11" guys on the court at the same time.

Their length is going to be an issue for teams. I haven't watched their games but it sounds like he they are having trouble divvying ball usage and minutes

We are better than them this year just like we were last year. Gotta make the lasting impression in March, though.

We just need to beat his arse in February and March. I dont know why he struggles to put the ball in the bucket but he has skill to turn it around. Preferably he transfers out and finds his rhythm elsewhere.

People need to let it go… that’s not gonna happen but they should.

if the roles were reversed and he had a good game, Bama fans would be rubbing our noses in it. Nothing wrong with taking your jabs while you can

Composure and turnover problems too. One bad call rattled them and a 21 point lead got erased.

These are still fixable issues though. We don’t really know where Oats ends up regarding rotation, and Youngblood isn’t back yet either. He’s expected to contribute.

I was advocating for Prime as well, but switch QBs and Prime is looking bad and Freeze is getting talks for SEC coach of the year.

That's just the thing about the QBs and coaches duos. One always helps or hurts another.

The point is stop gloating when it just as easily can backfire.

Is redshirting in bball really a thing (without an injury), seems odd to me? And what transfer is willing to redshirt in this age of the portal?

That was the difference last night but Mcneese tallest guy was like 6’8. They have length, but these players are not very athletic. The new center looks awkward, Stephenson is a spot shooter, and Nelson looked awkward on drive but got several calls when it looked like,he actually turned it over last night. I just don’t see how they will be any better than the regular season last year. Remember it was the easiest path in terms of Seeds played to a Final Four in like 20 years or something nuts.
