He just needs a new DC, a new QB, tons of new D players, a whole new OL, a new OC, and a new offensive philosophy.

The defense, while not great, can’t play the whole game. Offense is terrible.

He came in with, what, two days until signing day.
He really missed in the Portal, though. I understand what his thought process was- bring in the main battery of a very prolific offense, makes the transition easier, light up the scoreboard, provide proof of concept, then reap the benefits next year.
Well, it hasn’t really worked out like he planned. Can he self evaluate, admit his mistakes, and make a different plan for next year?
Time will tell.

I didn't go full "program changing win" then and I am not going full "burn it down" now.
Why not just just be less dramatic

If we had lost to Georgia (and let’s say Baylor too), this team would be around 2012 levels. We’re a miracle tackle and a butt fumble away from being 2-6.

We keep looking for coaches with the cheat code to turn 3 star talent into 5 star results. The game is about lines and we blew our money on South Florida skill players.
Golesh isn't it. We will sit through another season or two of this to realize it, but we need someone who can build an SEC level foundation first.

"Time will tell" yes AU fans have nothing but time. 7 years since we had a Top 25 team and yes we can wait another 7 years why not.

Well, we need to be able to run the ball too. OL sucks run blocking. And they are not good pass blocking, but it is a fact our QB makes them look even worse than they are. Of the problems I listed, I now go with defense, but QB is close #2 of biggest issues.
