Sad. Kind of felt bad for him actually. He had no answers at all and didn’t even try to make excuses this time. He is lost, you can hear it, and has no idea where to even go from here. I think he is done after Bama.

I highly doubt we can Gus after the Bama game. I don’t think the AD is ready to come up with $42 million and then have to turn around and hire a question mark.

I honestly feel that both parties will work something out. It will be a Tuberville type departure and good for both sides.

It’s over. I hear it in his voice. We read it come across his lips.

He is out of answers and excuses. Half the league is passing us by.

I remember AU getting fricked as Tubby went out the door. We paid him more than he was supposed to get because JJ is a dumbass.

I expect the sides to agree on a buyout around one half the contract.

Tubs crapped the bed at times but could go on the road and beat ANYONE. We were feared.

Just saw on tRant and never realized that under Gus we are O-FER in Athens, BR, Tuscaloosa.

It's just how the business he is in goes. Keep in mind he brought this all on himself by being so stubborn every year he was here. I think if he gets fired, which could possibly still happen depending on the iron bowl outcome (what if Tua's knee keeps him out?) He'll hopefully look back and realizes his mistakes, but I've also been saying that going from season to season seeing him try to force a square peg into a round hole.

Exactly

Same here. I’ve been pulling for the guy deep down until the TN game.

That game showed me he had lost it completely.

This! I thought the exact same thing when I watched it last night. It's like he knows there are glaring problems, but just can't climb out of the rut he's dug for himself.

Agree completely.

Whatever IT is, it’s deep.

Damn that was bad. The guy looked beyond dejected. That was almost as difficult to watch as the game itself.

Sad. Just sad.

He could have been a really good coach and now he doesn’t even know where to go.

That won’t work. He is flat out disappointed in himself and beyond lost on exactly where to go from here. Most of the people I know with millions are very unhappy people. People THINK plenty of money is the cure to all but it isn’t.

If Gus wants to sign his bank account over to me, I'm willing to give it a whirl and risk it.
