Why, got some Conference USA or Mountain West coach that's caught your eye?

These reactionary threads are funny to me. I absolutely get making a post in an existing game thread about coaching or whatever, but to take the next step and make a thread for it

Now is the time to go after a competent coach. Or, just sit back and do typical Auburn things.

I ate my crow in the other thread but let’s revisit this thread:

5 games - 81 carries. Averaging 16 rushing attempts each game.

Georgia game - 26 carries in one game.

Total carries: 25% of Brown’s rushing attempts this season came in the Georgia game.

We played 5 games NOT using our best offensive player to his strengths. That is like refusing to let N. Marshall (praise to #14) run the ball.

You have to put your best players in the best position to win. He had shown zero confidence to do that until Saturday. Don’t even get me started on Mabsen’s limited carries. Those two reasons are why I created the thread. It was not the losses - it was the losses trying to force a square peg in a round hole.

He finally pivoted and it gave us our best win in 10 years. I am so thankful for that. But he needs to keep riding Brown the rest of the season.

He has to run the ball early and often to make the defense play in the box. BB is not a good enough passer to throw into tight windows. It’s just who he is.

If he gets hurt running 25 times, then so be it. But I don’t think he will because he is so physically strong.

Pretty sure Golesh told his players not to listen to the keyboard warriors because your all a bunch of bitches who have never played this level of football and have no idea what it takes.

Oh and delete this thread it makes OP look like king bitch

A. The o-line finally gettin their shite together is what triggered our success.

It was night and day from what we’ve seen so far. Somehow we managed to push UGA around in the trenches.

I’m just as shocked as everyone else. Hope that becomes a trend.

B. He was hitting his windows. A LOT of his completions this weekend were sit downs and drags that were poking holes in UGA’s zone or creating mismatches in man, and fairly tight windows.

Now I agree he’s pretty much gotta be run first going forward but I was impressed with his arm Saturday.

A 6 win season would get us to a bowl game which is more than we have had in recent years. I will take 6 wins this year and hope for more in the next.

Been trying to tell many of my fellow Auburn brethren that Alex Golesh is the mannnnn.

He has what it takes deep inside his DNA and failure is neverrrrr an option with him and his mindset. He told us and the entire world exactly this in his on field interview after we stunned Georgia.

It’s infectious and just what the Dr. ordered for us to have the very dark cloud(s) removed over our program we love so much.

I love hearing him treat the media so well and goes above and beyond when answering their questions in depth. His football IQ is completely off the charts.

I really enjoyed hearing Gus and former players talk about how well he treats them and welcomes them with open arms. Very humble man that is authentic and absolutely loves people.

He definitely has Pat Dye traits in him. He can rebuild programs, keep on building higher and higher and can get emotional with the best of them. He loves his players hard and coaches them even harder.

I could not be more excited for the future and we should all feel very blessed to have him.

Thank you Coach!!!!

WAR DAMN!!!!!

All I wanted was people to stop falling into the hands of media people who hate us. Almost EVERY time someone brought up his mistakes they would add in 4 years of failure that didn't have sh*t to do with him. That's life, and I know it's what he signed up for but I hate that we played into it.
