We are definitely staying top 8 no matter what happens at the SEC tourney.
Win 2 and you are a lock for a top 4 seed.
1 and done depending on the opponent could drop to around 6-7. If it was Missouri, LSU, Vandy, or South Carolina

Does it really matter whether we are a four seed or an eight seed? Both seeds host a super regional.

It matters a fair bit in terms of the quality of the opponent we face in the super regional. But if we are expecting to make it to the CWS we will have to beat good teams regardless.

Down the stretch, Auburn baseball lined up against 3 straight really good teams and went 5-4.
Won the two road series.
That UGA lineup of hitters is elite.
They are the best team in the SEC.
If we could have found a way in game one, it would have been a perfect ending to the regular season.
