Goes without saying but We can NOT turn the ball over. Bailing out their QB whoever it is with short fields is a disaster. Their D is good enough to keep them in it even if their offense is inept. I think everyone is undervaluing our D, so if we can cause a couples TOs we could break it open.

Athens is like Baton Rouge. Let’s play and see. I for one hate playing there. But since the China bio warfare virus, maybe there really isn’t a “home field” advantage.

Off topic, Gus ruined the comforter, bed sheet, and mattress our last time in Baton Rouge and I still have cold sweat nightmares over it. Hope that is not the case in Athens.

Last time we played in Baton Rouge? You mean when we held 2019 LSU (widely considered one of the best college teams of all time) to their lowest scoring game of the season as well as the lowest margin of victory of the season?

I know you mean time before last. That was the game I lost all faith in Gus Malzahn...but it wasn't the last time we played at LSU.

And playing in Athens isn't really that different for us than Baton Rouge. We haven't won in Baton Rouge this century. Surprisingly our last win in Athens was in 2005. Not much different.

If Gus is gonna win in Athens this sure seems to be the year to get it done.

Late night thoughts. I went back and watched the game and 3rd down conversions on offense and stops for 3rd down on defense also scares me.

This is horse shite. Our QB, LB’s, WR’s, and possibly secondary is better than theirs.

Y’all already making excuses.

Nix does well throwing the ball away. Hoping that continues today.

Are the UGA players sending you text messages telling you they are nervous?

Literally go to the Georgia board and click the "to hell with Auburn" link. You are welcome.

Contain the run and/or get out to a quick lead...put pressure on the offense to “win” the game by throwing the ball and we should be able to force enough mistakes to go home with a win.

Georgia has always won with the running game and defense. When those are clicking, they only really need a game manager at qb. Right now, the QB is the weak link. Make him beat you and if he does, tip your cap.

Yep. Until I see, with my own eyes, Gus and Auburn win a game in Athens, I will not ever have hope. (Same goes for Baton Rouge)

Of course they're nervous. They're a very inbred breed with a host of medical issues, ranging from respiratory issues to incontinence. And that's the alumni.
