I'm interested to see what Marcus Davis brings to the table. I think he played QB or RB in high school and there wasn't any WR film on him coming out.

He got very little talk, but it appears he has picked up on it fast.

Davis was a QB last year, with Greg Bryant (singed with notre dame i think) as their RB... his film running the shotgun/read-option is electric.

Trovon Reed is low on the depth chart and probably won't play much until he fights his way back up.
Not surprising.

Jabrian Niles has stepped up and might keep Adams from playing.
Highly unlikely, IYAM.

Daniel and Lawson will play this weekend. Daniel will play more snaps.
Fapping material.

Since there isn't much to talk about, did y'all here about the bacon barn they added to the concessions at the stadium?

@FootballAU: If you enjoy bacon, visit the Bacon Barn located in Sections 2, 33, 60, 113. Each sandwich contains 8 strips of bacon.

So....it's just a bacon sandwich?

I'd rather just eat the bacon without the bread. If not, gimme some mayo, tomatoes and lettuce, or maybe fried green tomatoes.

Why would they tell us that they are going to release a depth chart and then not do it? Would have been better to just not say anything and surprise us if it was going to come out

Looks like one of WSU's returning defensive linemen is transfering -- Logan Mayes.

LINK

Here's his bio. He was a solid part time starter last year but got arrested this offseason.... wasn't listed in yesterday's 2-deep.

He had decent production considering how few starts he got and being a sophomore. Got to be good for us

Well you know, the depth chart is just a little banged and dinged up. We're just taking it day by day.

It's a new day. Every day is a new day. Every new dy has a new report. Every new report says the depth chart is coming tomorrow.

Duh.

Reading the rivals write up about WSU, the more I feel like our DLine play will be a huge factor in this game. If we can afford to play the dime package and drop 6 DBs back without opening up running lanes, I can't see them throwing the ball on us

one thing that stuck out to me when skimming through the game notes... Penalties.

Last year WSU ranked 103rd (out of 120) in fewest penalty yards at 63.7 YPG (penalized 87 times) -- pretty terrible (Auburn ranked 55th). Amazingly, WSU opponents were penalized 112 times for 89.3 YPG. In other words, Wazzou games last year had a TON of flags.

A couple things could've played into that... PAC12 crews might be quicker to pull the trigger than most conferences (UCLA, CAL, Wash, and Oregon all ranted 110th or worst in fewest penalty yards)... Officials might tend to side with the team that's getting the sh*t kicked out of them.

But a lot of those penalties called for WSU were the result of Pass Interference... with our DBs playing more press man coverage Saturday, it's gonna be extremely important that our guys play withing the rules... ESPECIALLY if it's a Pac12 crew (assume it will be). WAZZOU gained 48 first downs last year as a result of penalties. With our defense, we can't afford to give any four cheap first downs.
