I agree. We gave them time on that last drive. Force them to use a TO on second down and we run 40 seconds off the clock on fourth. We let them save their last TO. Stupidity will get you beat. I have been shaking my head since that play. We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Yeah we committed to the run. I didn’t hate playcalling. It’s just tough when you have a backup playing on a bum ankle. There were several times where guys are running wide open and Finley didn’t make the play.

Have not followed this thread tonight, but there are my thoughts:
- Terrible officiating was terrible. No review on the Finley interception? Hit the ground, was not an INT. Grabbing the ear hole is a facemask. Etc.
- Regardless of the outcome, recruits had an effing blast. Should be positive for us
- Will take me some time to recover from this but when all is said and done, I anticipate being pleased with taking Alabama to 4OT with a sprained ankle (or worse?) TJ Finley.
- ETA: Should have stayed aggressive on that last defensive stand. My goodness, terrible decision from Derek after a masterful night.

Run the ball and then the clock every play of the 4th quarter and we win the game. The 1st down pass INT on their FG drive, the third down pass before the second to last punt just atrocious. Snapping it with 10 seconds on the play clock. Can't blame him for Tank's ultimate stupidity but it didn't even have to get to that point.

Winners know how to close out the game. We saw Rondale Moore of Minnesota sit his arse down before he went out. I appreciate he tried to kill the game but he wasn’t really close.

The only really bad play call he made was when we were in FG range and he called a pass play. TJ took a sack that took us out of FG range.

We didn't take them to 4 OT, we whipped their arse all night and then gagged it away with inexplicable decisions on and off the field.

All of this is 100% true for me as well.
This should be huge for us in recruiting. Harsin can sell that this team is close to being really good.
