Does 4-8 or 3-9 give Auburn no choice ?

It's not going to happen for at least 2 more years. Hopefully, he'll at least leave a good roster for the next HC.

I don’t foresee a change coming this year regardless of what happens. We are too broke to afford a QB. How tf are we going to pay Freeze to leave, hire a coach that’s not the 5th person on the list, and then fund a competitive roster?

Us sucking and NIL/transfer portal becoming things was horrible timing.

Auburn football will never have continuity. Top 5 class at the moment after potato man, and we’re already chopping off his head.

We’re a sad lot.

Let him recruit at a high level for a few more years and then fire him if he can’t put it together on game day

Doesn’t matter in the slightest if we always come out looking like deer in the headlights every damn Saturday. We’ll see how long that class holds together now that they see everything this staff sold them on was a bunch of fantastical nonsense.

Anyone expecting to start winning 8 games in year 2 after the way the program fell off a cliff under the last regime was fooling themselves.

Unless his recruiting just goes in the shitter, then no.

We can’t fire a coach every two years and expect anything to change

The last regime did not get blown out and embarrassed at home by the likes of New Mexico State, Cal, and Arkansas. Last season’s bowl game against Maryland was a nightmare. We were a laughing stock with Harsin, now people actually feel bad for us.

Well guess what, coaches can make changes in their assistant coaches. It’s just always the same thing every time. Tubs, fans wanted him fired after the first year, Chizik, fans wanted him fired when he was hired, Malzahn, fans wanted him fired when he was hired, potato head same thing, then half the fans didn’t want Hugh and want him fired.

Zero chance I would take a job at Auburn.

Yeah, Hugh just needs to bring in a completely different coaching staff for the third year in a row. Give me a break. So tired of the excuses for this dog shite product on the field. Auburn should never be a doormat program like we are now.

We got rolled by two terrible teams in a row at home coming off getting rolled at home by new Mexico state and laughed off the field by Maryland, stop blaming harsin. Hugh has been a complete failure no matter how you slice it. If he can somehow hold the class together it worth sticking around if recruits start jumping ship might as well blow it all up

Everybody in the college football world knows we are our own worst enemy. We are too stupid to learn.

It doesn’t matter. Let a damned coach build his foundation and make necessary changes. If it doesn’t work out after 4-5 years, move on, so long as he’s recruiting well and adjusting.

I think the problem is too many Auburn fans think they aren’t attaching their identity to the program, but are actually little brother.

Pretty my worst case scenario I had in mind when he was hired. Worst case he gives the next guy a better roster than the potato fricker.
