I’m guessing you’re serious about the first statement. I don’t understand why coaches have to have forceful rebuttals just to accept days later. Non commital answers are okay too.

Stoops to AU would be a dream come true, given our current situation. That said, I am not 100% convinced that any of this is true.

However, it would make sense for Stoops to totally reject the idea and say that there is no open job at AU bc people are trying to shop Gus to other programs to lower the buyout.

and who is the next Bob Stoops? Enlighten us

IDK... I’m not a decision maker.

My point is we’re better off hiring someone with high upside (but short on experience) than a guy who’s best days are long gone.

Stoops is in his 50s. He's in his prime, as far as coaching years go.

Stoops lone title was pre 911... his last NC game appearance was 2008... he had a nice little resurgence with mayfield and hiring Lincoln Riley.

Plus he bring his terrible brother on as DC.

I swear Auburn fans would’ve looked at Saban’s resume before Bama and said “ahh no thanks”

So we'll be on the hook for $75 million instead of $49 million?

If we do that, some motherfrickers at Auburn need to be fired. Starting with Leath.

You’re retarded if you can’t see the differences between saban in 2007 vs Stoops in 2019.

You act like Stoops is in his 70's. He is 58. Say you get seven years out of him..............would that be a bad thing?
