It's shocking how good we are at recruiting without the on field results. If Hugh freeze goes 8-4 then we might have the number 1 class

Think the class picks up momentum? Seems to be coming together slowly, guess it's the NIL way?

A few days ago, I heard the Locked On recruiter say he thought Auburn would have like 10 commits within the next few months.

How many does it take before we have enough?

IE: should we maybe hire someone who doesn't want every WR in the nation?

Didn't want to hear about not offering for years like Tubs with his Pops.
Rivers’ got to have at least a couple more athletes in his family. And oh they had another one last Oct, to make it an even 10.

I used to following recruiting very close back in the dyer, lattimore, seastrunk days. But whats the point in even following people spent so much time talking about walker white and others only for them to leave withing a calender year. That time wasted talking about random recruits who dont even end up staying is wasted time forever

It's a newer phenomenon and recruiting interest will start to wane as more people start to realize it. It's still worth following some but nowhere near what it used to be.

This is fair

However - since I’ve been following recruiting, most guys you recruit don’t work out anyways. Now they just don’t work out elsewhere

I figure I waste a lot of time in life. In the car in traffic, in a line at the grocery store or DMV, on the toilet after trying carnivore, and so on.

I really hope we see results on the field, this year. I never want to go back to being irrelevant in recruiting.

There is some solid talent in Maryland/DC area. They play some physical football up there as well.

Elee is a St. Francis fella, we have 3 from the 2025 class and one already for 2026, Im sure the coaches are on him.

Speaking of Edge. We have Harris committed, Jones a heavy lean, and Pink said Trenton Henderson from Pensacola is looking like a lean to us, Wilkes from Wadly is in the mix. Throw in we are chasing Elee (currently Maryland commit), Carter (currently tam commit).

We have a real good chance of landing multiples of the top 10 edges in the country.
