Your whole post is so alive, showing that your dick just might swing low to the ground that I had to doublecheck that you actually said this lol.

But the bold bewilders me. You post like a sailor that ported a ship in Damascus. Who are you?

We have had at least two prospects we really wanted in the last few years come down to this exact scenario. Both received hell of an education..

Cam, Perry, and Reddick were the first targets in 4-5 cycles that could have played anywhere they wanted that we closed. Everyone on this board knew what it was like to have a (top target) visit Auburn, show interest, then commit elsewhere when things got serious. We became an "almost' or "2nd to 3rd choice" school. After the Tank, Bo and Owen class, we pretty missed on every elite prospect until Hugh showed up. Things are different now, so I'm wondering how long we need to leave the door open for a Henderson, if Ousmane and several others are interested and not playing as many games.

Right on cue jang! here here, love ya.

Question about QB carousel in this class. I see Keelon Russell the commit to SMU, is taking visits Texas, Ole Miss, Bama.

The Texas one is interesting, is KJ Lacey getting cold feet now that Ewers comes back and Manning is backed up a year?

I ask because I just saw the recruiting show and Alan Head said at the beginning that KJ might end up in our class, and never mentioned again. They must have shut him down and edited out because he said "we will talk later about that" and nothing.

Im guessing he is a fall back if Juju doesnt play out?

By the way Jonesy, you were right on Core, the delay was him, he wanted his family to see things before he committed.

Plenty of Sonic’s around here. I prefer mental warfare. The sonic crowds don’t seem to enjoy those fights as much

That’s awesome! I hope he ends up like big Derrick Brown. I was thinking he’s going to start entertaining options but loved his interview he immediately gave to the 247 AU guys. Excerpt below referring to the DL coach.

"Oh man, it's going to be crazy. I know he's going to be excited," Autry said. "He's going to be turnt. I texted him a few months ago and asked him if he had ever signed a 5-star before and he said 'no.' I told him that was my goal, that I wanted to be the first 5-star he ever signed. That's what I've been chasing for the last few months, grinding it out and once I get it I can't wait to send it to him and he's going to be turnt. Him, Coach Freeze, Coach (D.J.) Durkin. It's going to be amazing.

Autry is silently our best recruiter in the current class as far as commits. He will still entertain other options and people will continue to recruit him.

Once we get a few more big named commits I expect Autry to start being much more vocal.

I wish he would stop and lock in. It’s confusing when he’s a best recruiter yet listening and visiting elsewhere

I think our biggest competition is Florida so I'm not that worried personally. Billy is gone after this year almost definitely. They have the toughest schedule I've ever seen. Plus let's not forget about the 13 million dollar NIL mess lol if he commits to them then it just wasn't meant to be

Part of becoming a top tier program is not taking this stuff personally. Losing your spot is an impersonal but credible threat.

If a recruit commits to another program you keep recruiting him hard. If another equal/better back decides to commit (i.e. Ousmane), then he (Henderson) might lose his spot.

That simple.

There is no chance in hell Deion goes to ANY SEC school. Deion refuses to rub elbows with boosters or play political games within an athletic department. He rarely took recruiting visits even when he was healthy, and now he can barely walk. In my opinion he's headed to the NFL sooner than later after his son's leave. Being an SEC coach is about the (visuals) and brown nosing big time donors. Deion would get eaten alive for refusing to play the game.

We need two backs this cycle. As Pink said, if either commits....nothing changes, we will continue to recruit the other as before.

Course the question is will we pay the amount needed for both or take a second less sought after, and spend the money on others.

Regarding the dancing by recruits. Good, means other top tier programs want our fellas for a change In the past its been southwest state or their mom's basement.

We should never diss them, even if we miss, we might get them in the portal later.

I don't see it. Recruiting/hype/rara/players is his biggest strength... not X's and O's.

Plus what team would want the circus?

Exactly.

I don’t see him going to the NFL. But also agree he would probably be terrible at an SEC school even though I like him.
