If the USF QB comes here it will not be to ride the bench. If he comes here Daniel's is gone. Arnold will be gone too.

That’s fine. Just convince Deuce to stay.

The USF QB looks like he should leave USF and be in the SEC no matter what. I hope he's here and we don't have to play him.

Brian Hartline to USF.

Brown might not come here anyways.

The real question is do we want coaches that can recruit or develop talent. You can only pick one.

Easy answer. If you can develop talent & they go onto the NFL that is in itself recruiting. You can get players with NIL this day & age but if you can develop then you offer something that the just a recruiter can't offer.

I always want development. Why? well even your 2nd & 3rd string get better and your starters much better over time. That word of mouth & by putting folks in the NFL gets you free recruit pipeline.

I hope Arnold is already gone. Let’s hang on to Deuce and Ashton and bring in the USF guy and let them battle it out.

And that’s my hesitation. If you bring him in, have a real competition.

Deuce will be able to set his family up for life with his AU NIL. He set himself up nicely with his performance against Mercer.

I do not know much about the veer and shoot, but it looks like Duece could wreak havoc in such a system.

Yall got married to Deuce over the Mercer game.

If Brown doesnt come then Ashton will be starting for us next year and he has done awesome so far

not knowing much beyond the stat line and his relationship with Golesh, i would love for Brown to transfer in

however he would likely be better off staying at USF and proving what he can do in a more NFL-friendly system under Hartline

i think we will be fine with Daniels/Deuce for 2026, spend the extra NIL on quality OL

Most of USF’s competition is on Mercer’s level, so we don’t know much about that kid either. He did play well vs Florida though.

That's how he was supposed to play against Mercer.

Isn't there an OL from PA who was committed to Penn State we might get?

Not if it means losing Deuce. That kid has 1 year of eligibility left, and we just got a 3* signee that could possibly be his replacement after that 1 year. I’m over getting subpar QBs from the portal (not saying this kid is). Play your 5* high school signees

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you with anything qb related but here i am agreeing with you agreeing with you over something qb related and it's not just Deuce we run the risk of losing if he walks. The amount of money we'd have to throw at Brown would be better served somewhere else(OL) and could mess up the locker room vibe. Not worth the risk unless we're forced into it imo
