al.com article on EJ says he is 215 lbs, and 247 has him at 205. Either way, he is gonna be a load by the time he gets to college.

JLee and the crew said its not a coincidence he announces a reclass and then his visit to us for junior day.

I’d take Keys over any WR in this class by far next one isn’t even close currently.

I like CD Morgan but he is overrated in my opinion. I think he’s a flex TE in college.

In my opinion I think Marquez Daniel is the better in state “big” WR.

Not disagreeing but what specifically have you seen from CD Morgan that says he's overrated? Have you been to a lot of games? Does he not have the speed?

He’s a good athlete and a good WR. He is not a top 5 WR. Yes limited speed. He plays more in the slot already in high school. He’s a good player I’m not saying he’s bad just very overrated. Probably a mid 4 star kind of guy. 15-20th WR/TE hybrid.

CD is also very jacked up. How much better can he get body wise other than adding some weight? Just looks like a kid that is maxed out in high school. Still like I said a good player just me personally have Daniel rated higher for a big bodied WR in state.

Just curious

And I want to be clear again. I’m not saying he’s not good. He’s just not a 5 star and definitely shouldn’t get 5 star NIL. He’s a good player. He’s much better than some WRs ranked in the 50’s the past 10 or so years that we have gotten.

I would put someone we already have committed Devin Carter much higher.

I trust your judgment so you should be on Freeze's staff.

Luke, can you make this happen when you see the governor?

As for the wr. Sounds mid to me. The JJ Evans kind of a 4 star.

Man that would be a dream come true to be a talent evaluator on the staff.

JJ Evans might be a good comparison. Dude did it all in high school just never panned out in college. I do think CD will have a decent college career especially if they get him to 225-230ish play him in big slot role. Get his 3-4 catches a game. Strengthen those hands to vice grips and punish safeties blocking and be hell to tackle. He has better speed than many of the big TEs.

I want to see Erick Smith in that role as well. Smith has to put on about 40 pounds but he’s 2 years away from playing maybe 3. So has time. Become a great blocker on the edge and you can get on the field. Smith might have better hands than CD. It’s close. CD is faster.

In other news. Sammy Coates has been named head football coach at Columbia High School (Huntsville). They have lost 91 straight games so essentially 10 years without a win.

Good luck Sammy
