We’re on his second already. It will just be more outdated, ineffective gimmicks if Freeze makes the hire.

Freeze was a bad hire. We can continue to prove that out with more losing seasons… it won’t help recruiting and it certainly won’t help NIL investment. Plus the stadium will eventually be half empty.

I have hated the Freeze hire from day 1. I don't think he survives this season but probably best to fire him at end of season

Yeah, no shite.

He is gone. The fanbase is checked out. Aint nobody give a shite about him coming back with a different OC LOL.

The monetary angle means frick all by the way. Do you have any idea how much its going to take to keep players on this roster if you keep Freeze? Nobody on the offensive side of the ball is buying his bullshite anymore, which means that you either overpay out to arse to try to keep the roster in tact or your bring him back next season with a decimated roster...in which case he has zero chance of making it out of next season alive.

I’m just passing along info I was on the fire freeze bandwagon right after the game I have no dog in this fight.

But your quote above is wrong. The stadium was absolutely packed and electric Saturday night it was loud and fans losing their minds. Guess what it will be packed and insane against Zou as well. Only us message board/Twitter fans are going crazy.

I’ve heard regardless the season Freeze can still remain if he gets an OC and turns the offense completely over. I’m sure that comes with a lot of caveats meaning the new OC can bring in whoever he wants on that side of the ball. Cohen and couple of the boosters are still all in on Freeze.

The stadium was dead in the second half. UGA was his final chance and he blew it. The tone has shifted COMPLETELY. Even your happy-go-lucky guys like JHead are popping on Podcasts and openly stating that they don't see him surviving.

He'd have to win ~5 games in a row which at this point is absurdly improbable. He doesn't have that ability.

both would be better options than Franklin. Dude has proven he can't win a big game. He has all the tools he needs at PSU and still can't figure it out.

James Franklin's record against AP top 25 teams is 17-37, and his record against top 10 teams is 4-21. These numbers have been a point of criticism during his tenure, particularly his 1-10 record against Ohio State and 3-7 record against Michigan at Penn State.

Penn State vs. top 10 Big Ten: 1-18

It’s all about optics. The rest of the country and coaches will see they fired Harsin mid season. Freeze has lost close games to 3 top 10ish teams 2 on the road and in 2 games got absolutely hosed by the officials.

Ain’t nobody besides Auburn fans watching this burning septic tank called Auburn football. Who gives a frick what some methed up white trash from Arkansas or Missouri thinks about shite canning a guy who should have never been hired to begin with.

The problem with the losses is the lack of offensive production.

Franklin has led an SEC program and a historic Big 10 power, the latter to pretty high success over a sustained period

But we're supposed to assume the journeyman at Jacksonville State would be the better option?

I'm not THAT enthusiastic about Franklin, but I definitely don't get dismissing him.

Honestly, Durkin might be the move. I hear the big money guys (and we know the players) love the guy. Can’t be any worse than what we’ve got and you might just retain some of the talent on the team if Hugh is shown the door early enough to salvage a win or two and settle the guys down a bit before the end of the year. If he could get us to a bowl game and look good doing it, might be just what we need. The reluctant hero.

we fire Gus because he can't win a big game.

we hire harsin which was a disaster.

we fire Freeze because he can't win a big game.

just so we can hire Franklin.........who has a long history of not being able to win a big game.

............and the cycle continues.

That's why I am "dismissing" him. I don't know the answer, but I am all for trying to break the cycle we are in.

Small games either….

Or games against Pavia

Or games in which a call or two goes against him.

Don’t forget those games.
