There are a few articles out the last few days saying UK has moved on from Cooper. He's reportedly been recruiting for Auburn for a while now. He's pretty much as close to a lock as these things get.

Schedule is finalized. I'd copy and paste but can't seem to make it work.

Auburn finalizes 2019-20 non-conference basketball schedule

quote:

Coming off the first Final 4 in school history the Auburn Tigers will face 10 20-win teams in the non-conference portion of the schedule, Coach Bruce Pearl announced on Thursday. The biggest matchup of the group comes in the last non-conference game of the year when the Tigers host Iowa State for the seventh annual Big 12/SEC Challenge, Jan. 25. The Cyclones have made it to the NCAA Tournament in seven of the last eight seasons and have won four of the last six Big 12 Conference tournaments.

“Once again, our staff has put together a great non-conference schedule,” Pearl said. “To get NC State and Iowa State at home and play at incredible neutral-site venues in Annapolis against Davidson, Brooklyn against a good field and Birmingham for the Mike Slive Invitational vs. Saint Louis are great opportunities. Neutral-site games really help our team get ready for NCAA Tournament play.”

Following an exhibition against Eckerd College on Nov. 1, Auburn opens with Georgia Southern at home on Nov. 5., before taking on Davidson as part of the sixth-annual Veterans Classic in Annapolis, Md. on Nov. 8.

The first true road game of the year comes the next week when Auburn travels to Mobile to face South Alabama on Nov. 12. Home games against Cal State Northridge (Nov. 15) and Colgate (Nov. 18) follow before the Tigers head to Brooklyn during Thanksgiving for a game against New Mexico on Nov. 25. Auburn will face either Richmond or Wisconsin the following day.

Auburn returns home on Dec. 5 to face a Furman team that won 25 games a year ago, including an overtime win over Villanova. The Tigers face St. Louis in Birmingham on Dec. 14 before N.C. State comes to the Plains on Dec. 19. Games against Lehigh (Dec. 21) and Lipscomb (Dec. 29) finish off the schedule heading into conference play.

I'll buy my Mike Slive Invitational tix the second those hit. That was a blast last yr. The first time I ever felt real basketball school vibes.

I found this searching Sharife Cooper on Twitter:

”Sources told KSR this weekend that communication between Kentucky and Cooper has been nearly non-existent as of late and the 5-foot-11, 160-pound point guard will not end up in Lexington.”

I’m basically 99 percent sure he sticks but George Pickens derangement is still in effect.

There was a rumor we were going to get to play Louisville. Guess that fell through.
