Bo is gone. In my opinion he was the best QB on the roster and would have been this year if he were still here. He ain’t tho. Time to move on.
Bo will light up the PAC. And no a freshman isn’t going to take his spot out there.
Calzada also was in the same recruiting class as Bo. It’s not like he’s some green QB. He’s been around the same as TJ and Ashford. All have all “practice” to be ready to take on a season of football.

I was also attempting to explain why we ended up with Calzada (and Ashford) out of the portal as opposed to any “proven” QBs. We were without an OC for a significant period during our search, and there were already rumblings that the program was headed off the cliff. It’s not like Spencer Rattler and Dillon Gabriel were looking us over and saying “yeah, that’s a team that’s going places next year, I wanna be a part of that”.
I’m hoping that someone steps up, but unlike others ITT I won’t pretend that anyone we have would be better than Bo right now. Unfortunately, as Corch says, he gone.

I think we are all just frustrated that we may be headed for yet another season where we dont have a reliable QB, at least not yet. Im betting one of them steps up and we have a Jason Campbell senior year type performance, course didnt hurt he had a couple of decent running backs to balance out the attack...

Not according to “stats”. They both are 56% passers and negative rushing yards bros. Nix’s intraconference impact is stronger from both a passer and runner level and he simply turns the ball over lot less.

I didn't say he was a clear upgrade. He has less experience than our ex slot WR. I said I will see how he performs on the field and reevaluate. His ceiling is higher because we know Bos is really low. That doesn't mean after 3 seasons he will have more wins. You are the dumb one who fanboys a sub 60% QB.

Bo could have been our best option this year, but do you want it to be Harsin’s team or somebody else’s? I can’t speak to the behind the scenes specifics but Bo chose to leave.
I’m glad Gus is no longer here, and switching coaches is always going to be painful. Players are always going to leave. Promises made before can’t be kept any longer.
February was dark times for Auburn. Successful business people often make really bad decisions a short distance from their area of expertise.
The best outcome for Auburn would be that Harsin does well. And IMO, we should all get behind that effort. If he doesn’t, let him go after 3-4 years of solid support. Abandoning him mid year or at the end of this one, after what Gus left us, is just silly.

I really don’t know what you’re saying. Harsin needs to win and his best hand would’ve been Bo. It would’ve been Harsin’s team all along. Are you saying a strong personality that was held over from the previous team couldnt coexist with Harsin?
